tinnitus has come back

I had a mild ear infection mid May 24, my ear suddenly blocked and I had sudden tinnitus. I took ear antibiotics for 7 days, which cleared the infection and the tinnitus nearly disappeared 4 weeks later.the dr said that I had a perforated ear drum which is common with infections, which will heal over 3 weeks or so, which seemed correct , however Today 12th July my tinnitus is back at moderate levels. Annoying and concerning. Anyone have similar experience? Thanks
