Antibiotic and Actemra
Hello folks, I have an infection in my tooth and need to take an antibiotic for 10 days. If I'm understanding the guidelines for Actemra correctly, apparently, I am supposed to stop my Actemra injection (which is every two weeks) while I am on an antibiotic. My question is, is that really necessary

Penis Problems Help
Contacted my GP, put me on a course of
antibiotics
, helped slightly but then started to get ED issues. Urine and STD tests all came back normal. Was then referred to a urologist for a rigid cystoscopy , this is when everything starts to get worse for me.

Recovery from pneumonia
70 YO F with bronchiectasis - I developed double pneumonia 3 months ago and completed 2 weeks of IV antibiotic treatment in hospital and at home 2 months ago. Is it normal for recovery from pneumonia to wax and wane, to be "nonlinear"? I was getting better 2 weeks ago, the fatigue was starting to lift

Doxycycline, small clinical trial
Because mitochondria evolved from bacteria, many classes of FDA-approved
antibiotics
, including doxycycline, actually target mitochondria.

since surgery no 1.

Notes for upcoming GP appointment
Apologies as this is a long read 🙃 I've got a GP appointment booked for 9th May, with a doctor I've not seen before and who is relatively new to the practice. I'm wanting to ask for a Rheumatology referral and have written the below out as a crib sheet for me to take in. I'd appreciate any thoughts

Prebiotic Probiotic Antibiotic... What's the deal?
Ok... Antibiotic is just added to the post title for rhyming. This post is not about antibiotic. So what is this about? Bacillus Subtilis PXN21 beneficial for PD... And Bio-Kult sells out. Thankfully pvw2 pointed out that any Subtilis strain works L. Plantarum PS128 beneficial for PD... And

Been coughing for 3months
I have since hard 3 courses of
antibiotics
and a chest X-ray revealed a bit of fluid in the lungs, which the consultants do not feel is much of an issue. the coughing is very productive in the morning and then very dry at night and my nose gets blocked as well.

swollen and leaking legs
Gp thought it likely he had cellulitis and a course of
antibiotics
cleared that up but he still has the swelling. He also has lots of blisters that come up and burst. A blood test ruled out the usual heart/liver/kidney causes.

LBBB.
Just been disagnosed with LBBB that my GP missed 1 year ago and allowed me to go on
antibiotics
for past nasal drip which had to have a normal heart: hence the ECG . 1 year later I applied for whole of life insurance and their doctor found it in my records and queried why my doctor had not done cardiac

A quick update for those that remember my recent posts about the Ablation complications!
Ablation 16/3, artery got damaged, 3 outpatient appointments, 2 failed attempts at thrombin infusion under ultrasound, emergency 3 day admission to hospital with emergency pseudoaneurysm and arteriovenous fistula repair (pretty major surgery involving patching the damaged artery with cow veins) . Most

They are also looking at my bladder as I've been on
antibiotics
for 11 years for recurrent UTIs with no known cause.I'm sick of the pain and bloating. I know everyone's different but any tips for the day or surgery and recovery would be appreciated!
