antibiotics + thyroid meds

Hi, Happy New Year! anyone know, if there should be a time gap between taking my thyroid meds & an antibiotic? Thanks

Are you still on NP Thyroid and Lio? How do you split that through the day?

How often are the antibiotics? 3 or 4 x a day? Oral tablets? (Just confirming).

You’ll struggle to make 4 hour gaps work if taking a few doses a day. Personally I’d aim for 2 hour gaps where possible.

Remember to add in some protective pro bio RiCS such as S Boulardii to protect your (or help it recover) gut microbiome from the antibiotics 🌱

Hi, Thank you. I take NP 1x daily (works for me for 35yrs). Yes, when I factor in supplements for bone loss, Bcomplex & ...........24 hrs seems like a short day! I'm never w/o my pre&probiotics & will make them a priority

I needed to take doxycycline for several weeks and they have the same sort of instructions as levothyroxine for taking them, so I took one of the doses at the same time and didn't notice a problem. I was making kefir at the time, which I consumed at lunchtimes.
