Hiccups
It doesn't make any difference when regardless of what I take in the way of
antacids
and only get acid reflux when on steroid tablets.

Extremely Frustrated with Anxiety. Need some advice
I was given Zantac and said to take
antacids
. I am absolutely sick of this because aside from this I am so tired all the time I don't have the energy to do anything ans it seems like something is always wrong w me physically. I got a blood test a few months ago & everything normal.

Thrilled to have found this site!
So I did research, found that metallic
antacids
hurt the kidneys. That's how I came to find out that my GFR is at stage 3a. Doctors didn't tell me. I'm assuming that's because our system is oriented toward illness, not wellness. Omeprazole now has a warning with regard to heart disease.

One week later
I have had post procedure migraines and am now on high dose
antacids
because of possible damage to my oesophagus. So not a straightforward recovery. One episode of afib and one atrial tachycardia. Last night started deep breathing and relaxation which stopped the tachycardia.

Bloated tummy and frequent bowel movements
(pls refer to my previous post to understand my dad's condition) hello friends.. help. I scanned thru the forum to find if frequent bowel movement and/or loose stools is often found in PSP patients. But appears that constipation is more common, so wondering what is happening with dad. No medicine

So Antacids are bad?
I did not find a discussion about why
antacids
are bad where RLS comes into play. I have chronic heartburn, going in for a scope on 18 Apr. So I often chew
antacids
to help quiet my roiling stomach.

In a lot of pain and feel sick. Anxiety Or something else?
They said everything was good and gave me
antacids
. Well, the
antacids
have done nothing. So earlier this week I saw my doctor and all she could say was. 'You seem stressed. It could be anxiety. Come see me in 3-6 months if things don't improve.' But lasting almost 2 weeks?

If You're Thinking of Switching Out Your DA for Lyrica...
I've heard lots of stories of people throwing away these emergency meds or needing way less when they stopped taking statins or HRT or antidepressants or sugar substitutes or
antacids
. 1.0mg of melatonin will give me restless BODY for 4 to 5 hours.

Antacids and Warfarin?
For some reason, I have had a bit of an acidy stomach over the last couple of days. Can I take Bisodol without it interfering with Warfarin? I chewed less than half of one tablet in the night, which helped. Its too trivial to bother my GP about this I feel. Permanent but stable AF, and taking Metoprolol

Burning pain
Have taken
antacids
, no help at all so doubtful it's indigestion and I don't suffer with that anyway. Not sure if it's Lupus related or if I am starting a flare :(

Ivor Lewis surgery + post op care
He has used
antacids
for 25 years, rarely drinks, has never smoked and has a higher BMI. He has had a resection which has removed the cancer. On checking the resection healing, by EUS, inflammation in one node has been identified as 6mm. This may be nothing of concern and just a raised node.

Calcium Supplementation to Help Prevent Bone Loss
Moreover, while insufficient calcium intake is a serious problem, recent research indicates an overload of calcium caused by drinking too much milk, along with taking calcium supplements or
antacids
, can cause a host of serious side effects.

Nausea
I have now completed my treatment of chemo, surgery and ending with chemo coupled with radiotherapy. This finished 23rd November 2016. I have since been back to hospital for over fluids due to being unable to eat and/or drink due to pain in my throat caused by swelllkng. I am hopefully past this but
