Hi does anyone else suffer really painful loud hiccups on a daily basis?

It doesn't make any difference when regardless of what I take in the way of antacids and only get acid reflux when on steroid tablets.

When I get them really repetitive and painfully it eases with taking ventolin but doesn't stop them

It's painful under my rib at the bottom of my left lung and it's sensation of contractions each and every time

Anyone else experienced the same thing?

yes after rice, bread, chips or most carbs. I'm not on steroids all thee time but it's definitely worse after a short high dose of them. I find a mellow fruit smoothie helps, sipped slowly, xx

You could also have an acid reflux!

Hi, I've had hiccups every day since December 1997. I take baclofen which helps reduce them. I always hiccup more after eating and drinking fizzy drinks.

I just got on albuterol for asthma and get the hiccups within 1min. After using my inhaler and the only way I have ever been able to get rid of my hiccups is to bend over and drink water upside down
