What does Angina involve?
Can you recover from Angina, I suspect I have contacted this condition from overeating, and lack of exercise, does it leave permanent effects on the system? I have only contracted the condition very recently. If I exercise, carefully, and diet slowly I will hopefully improve. I have heard that aspirin

Another trip to hospital
I know I am daft but I do get ahead of myself and think my Hughes is controlled and then the uncontrolable element of the beast raises its ugly head and it shocks me every time. Another duh moment yesterday. GP got me in an ambulance cos of chest pain and breathlessness. All blood tests, x rays, brain

Advice for Monday
Hi All, I'm just after some advice as I'm seeing a new Cardiologist on Monday after I collapsed at work in November to be told my SVT was back after my second failed ablation back in November 2014. Since then I have been put on; x4 Verapamil and x2 Ivabradine daily and they don't seem to help at all.

Heart is trying to kill me
On Boxing day in 2012, I woke up having a heart attack. The family took me to the hospital and the next morning I went to another hospital and had a stent put in. Not one to sit around, we went to Mexico 6 days later for a week, came home and I went back to work on Monday. No one actually told me

GOOD NEWS . Just been told by cardiologist that I no longer Heart Problems , Angina after my heart attack and stroke in 2009 .
Who could have guessed that angina , heart spasms, were curable. just been given full bill of health by cardiologist and no longer have these problems but still have to take the medication. Can't work that one out. Anyone any ideas. you don't have a problem but you still have to take the medication

Shocks at termination of AF attack.
Before I had my pacemaker fitted, at the end of an AF attack I would get a strong electrical shock which I came to dread. I've had AF for over ten years or more but it was only over the last year that this occurred. Has anyone else experienced this. Now I have the pacemaker I don't notice my heart

Hello Everyone
I thought I would write this post to introduce myself to you. I am a grandmother who has had frequent episodes of unstable Angina. I have at least two attacks per day. I am sure that most of you will agree that the experience is frightening to say the least. I have been in and out of hospital on

Quick question
When working out my stroke risk the Dr asked if I had angina or get any pains in back of legs.....as far as I know I don't have angina, however I have experienced what I can only describe as a pulled or tight muscle feeling in back of my calves last few days, not sure if to ring and ask about it.....
