Reply to a post from Tats which I wanted to share re., cardiac symptoms.
I am not a doctor but I understand where you are coming from as I had the exact same angina symptoms 18 months ago and I am sure they were caused by inadequate thyroid medication 100mcgs. I went for various tests cardiac and high blood pressure over thirteen years since RAI treatment for thyrotoxicosis

re update on chest pains.
For those who may remember that I posted about having chest pains way back in June. This week I went in for an angiogram and was told there is no blockage in my arteries but that they went into spasm while the dr was in there! Apparently 2% of people with angina have this vacuospastic type and need

DWP Appeal - Any help would be appreciated, please?
I've recently received a letter stating that I am fit for work, after not attending an Atos assessment. Unfortunately on the day of my appointment I became so very stressed remembering what I had had to endure last year and ended up having an Angina attack so I never attended. Obviously they do not

Chest Pain
I recently suffered pains in the chest, this started as a dull just to the left of the Sternum which was on and off during the day never at night that I am aware of. Gradually over a couple of days this got worse and spread into the Neck and at the same time I experienced a slight numbness in the Left

Hello everyone!
Hello everyone. I suffer with severe Emphysema, also Angina and depression. Well, they do say things come in 3's! One thing I'm glad that I haven't lost is my sense of humour and although I do have 'dark days', I know that the 'sunshine' is waiting on the other side :)

Symptoms of a heart attack / angina in men.
I don't mean to appear morbid but one of the problems with being diagnosed with high cholesterol (whether you believe this can cause MI or not) is you are hyper sensitive to any twinges in the chest area (especially as you pass 40 - as in my case). There doesn't seem to be a lot of information out there

Hello. I have a Nitrolingual spray for Angina. If the ache/pain is not angina ,would the spray make any reduction of the pain?
3weeks ago I was admitted to hospital with pain in my jaw, neck , shoulder, arm and an ache in the chest. I also felt weak and close to fainting. Following ECG , Echo then Angiogram I have been told by the doctor that it's unlikely it's heart trouble. Since I've been home I've had the jaw pain ,neck
