Worried high MCH & MCV
Good morning all has been a worrying time for me lately. I have just been through a cancer 2WW for colonoscopy due to high amount of blood in Q-Fit stool test.. Thankfully colonoscopy showed 2 polyps, diverticulitis and haemeroids. GP rushed me in about 3 weeks ago to look at a weird rash which suddenly

Positive Update
I previously asked on this forum for advice for my husband in relation to a rls specialist in Ireland. This led to loads of great advice and knowledge in relation to the management of his severe rls as per Mayo Clinic Algorithm. He started taking magnesium glycinate 400 mg, Vitamin B12 and Vitamin D3

Update on appointment at Vanderbilt QCC
I have secured an appointment for a 2nd opinion with Dr Arthur Walters who is the Director of Vanderbilt's RLS QCC. This will be a telemedicine visit so I do not need to travel 2 hours to be seen again. I was initially seen by Dr Kishan Tarpara at Vanderbilt but was very disappointed that he would not

Blood pressure medication
My doctor has changed my BP medication from Amlodipine to Candesartan because it caused serious problems with my gums. The problem is one of the possible side effects with Candesartan is dizziness which I have a phobia of. She has only put me on a low dose 4mg but I am afraid to take them. Has anyone

Continued Journey
I’m at day +72 from my BMT. On day +70 on had labs and met with the medical team. Some of my concerns with weight loss and declining platelets were considered. I had finally regained some weight 3lbs. This was an indication the steroid budesonide was beginning to help food absorption of nutrients.

CLL along with hemolysis
i started OV treatment in April and have finished the cycles of Obinutuzumab. My Venetoclax dose has been changed a number of times due to counts. Last few weeks have been 300mg and blood has been pretty normal except for platelets which have often been low but are now 88 - with everything else pretty

pelvic pressure
I’ve had Hashimotos for years now and generally seem ok on a low dose of levo 50mcg. more recently I have experienced bad pelvic pressure and bloating. Before that I had a private health check with a gynaecologist because of severe dryness burning and discomfort all was ok with the uterus and vagina

Folic acid
If your folate levels are good, and you continue with EOD B12 injections, only taking folic once a week, what happens? Will you return to getting symptoms or does it mean the B12 just doesn’t get utilised as well as it should. I have been taking a B complex every day which has folate in it. Is the folate

Is this normal after SI?
Hi. As previously mentioned, I've been SI 1000mcg Hydroxycobalamin every other day for just under 2 weeks. At the moment my neuropsychiatric symptoms are very bad, and (unfortunately) seem to be getting worse daily at the moment. Am taking co-factors, but am being tentative with the potassium addition

Vitamin B supplements
I recently posted my iron test results which were on the high side and therefore I didn't need to supplement and if possible I should try to bring my levels down. I am about to start taking Vitamin B supplements based on a Blue Horizon thyroid test. My question is - will B supplements increase my iron

Low haemoglobin and low haematocrit levels
Just been told by GP my haematology levels are 130 g/l [135-175]and haematocrit levels are 0.39 [0.41 - 0.53]and platelet count is 410 [150-400] . Good news was tsh was 0.8. Doctor said levels are nothing to worry about but been googling and think points to anemia. Any recommendations of supplements
