Need Advice
I need some advice. To make a long story short, a friend went through augmentation on dopamine agonists, tapered off and Gabapentin was prescribed 600mg at 4 hrs and 2 hours before bedtime (total dose 1200mg). Additionally, hydrocodone was prescribed to relieve severe RLS and PLMD. Hydrocodone 10 mg

Butec/Buprenorphine Patches
Hi So, mum is currently using Butec patches (weekly) We have worked out that on the day of changing, her RLS sysmtoms are hugely exacerbated so that she is in 'pain' most of the night Has anybody else experienced this and if so do you have any ideas how we can manage this? Currently increasing

What is the folate trap? Am I in it?
Just watched the Cytoplan video with Dr David Morris and he mentioned the folate trap, which I've seen mentioned on here When I was first diagnosed with B12D and extremely low folate, I was told to take 5mg of folic acid for 6 days before starting the B12, because my folate was so low. Would this have

Low iron???
My wife's Hgb is often low, though can pickup a little after a ferinject IV. Her hematologist would prescribe ferinject when her ferritin was lower than 15, so she is always on the low side of normal. A recent trip to Christie's and blood tests gave this result above. We understand the ferritin numbers

High MCV & MCH update
Good morning all I just wanted to update you on my previous post. All blood tests came back normal apart from very high B12 and Folate and a note under differential white blood count saying "RBC show mildly macrocytic picture" MCV & MCH were still abnormal but lower than a couple of weeks previously

Hello All! I've been keeping abreast of information on the forum, although I haven't posted in a while (not felt that I've had much to offer in the way of answers :) ). However, I was hoping I might get some more guidance from the wise folks on here. I've updated my bio. with the latest chapters related

Folic acid dose at night?
Does anyone take their folic acid at night, then do the B12 injection the next morning. Just wondered if that would work so the folate is ready in the body to help the B12 absorption?

Generic for Buprenorphine?
so tomorrow I see my gp. At first I was considering gabapentin but I see alot of you have good results with Buprenorphine, since it has a long life and I could just go off my hydrocodone which has absolutely stopped working after 14 years. I've been having to take more than one 10/325mg and I'm just

4am and still up!!!
I don't post much because my RLS isn't too bad most nights.I tried adding that both my kidneys have failed because of catching Covid for the second time and already I have a number of health issues. I am on Peritoneal Dialysis and I am diabetic. I treat my RLS with 75mg Pregabalin, I know it's nothing
