Haemolysis
Hi all. Sent for Monitor my Health blood test for TSH, T4+T3. Sent 1st thing Tues am. Only got a response Thurs pm to say test received. Could the delay by Royal Mail have resulted in Haemolysis? My first test in May went thru no probs, other than getting enough blood. This time, after all the tips I

Advice re purple lidded blood tubes.
Four times now I have had a failure with the purple lidded tube when trying to do the full health screen from Monitor my Health. It is for the anemia panel and I mainly get “clot detected “ and that I am not inverting the tube and rolling it between my hands for thirty seconds. Thing is that I am following

Good news re white blood cell count
Well the GP sent me for blood tests this morning and the good news is the level has dropped, so he is happy that is going in the right direction. Still a couple of abnormal readings though with regard to blood count Haemoglobin, Haematocrit MCHC Neutrophil count Monocyte count but nothing that he

I have continued to make progress on my path to getting my dopamine receptors back to somewhere near normal. I last used a DA patch in September. I am using buprenorphine patches and pregabalin as RLS blockers to assist in the process. There is some improvement (perhaps 60%) in my sleep regime and in

Less symptoms but still RLS sleep issues
I have supplemented iron for 4 months now and my RLS has reduced more and more but still have a bit of sleeping problems. I take no medications beside also Vitamin D. Last time my doctors checked my blood my ferritin level were in the normal range (around 140). Question is if I should continue taking

Amgevita - low energy
I know that there's a comorbidity with
anaemia
. I've emailed the hospital today to ask if it might be chronic illness
anaemia
or due to iron deficiency, just waiting to hear back from them. I'm tempted to just go and get some Feroglobin iron capsules as this fatigue isn't much fun.

MCV and supplement question
Hi all, I'm hypothyroid and frequently have MCV and MCH outside of range. In general I feel better supplementing with methyl Bs and have added folate. I want to ask though if there is anything concerning and how to address these results. Is my ferritin ok or are there additional tests to run? Thank

Does The Thyroid Affect Potassium Levels?
I was on iron tablets for most of the year as I had iron deficiency
anaemia
but bloods all looking good, and my liver function tests have all come back a little high so they suggested stopping them now as my ferritin and full blood count levels are all towards the higher end of the ranges.

Tirosint
I am unable to take tablet form levothyroxine, I have a gene issue with metabolising some medications. I have started liquid thyroxine but I think the ingredients are affecting my stomach and I have been told to stop taking this to see if it is the cause. I see that Tirosint is quite pure but not sure

Update- I no longer take Dipyridamole
I have been meaning to update the group on this. I have stopped taking Dipyridamole for over a month now, closer to two months. I took Dipyridamole for two years. I was nearing the end of my Dipyridamole supply. I was wondering how much it was helping. So I stopped abruptly. Since then I have

Diagnosis
Good Morning I have suffered with my condition for over 20 years and have also been told I was born with it, the doctor agrees I have all the symptoms of fibromyalgia but says they haven't givin it that label as it all falls under the same umbrella of musculoskeletal disorder, which is what I have

What vitamin supplements to take alongside B12 injections?
Hi all - I'm currently on monthly injections for PA but still feel tired every morning even after a good nights sleep; low energy days; trouble focusing etc - sure you'll all be familiar with the symptoms! I've had several further blood tests and vitamin D and iron deficiencies have been identified

I'm looking for info and reassurance from anyone on rivaroxaban concerning taking vitamin k2
I also have Pernicious
anaemia
and hashimotos thyroiditis, low vit d. I've looked on numerous groups regarding vit k2 but still unsure if its safe to take as a co factor to vit d, while taking rivaroxaban. I'm desperate to feel well again🙄

Updated bloods
Bloods also show poss on cusp of
anaemia
, below level lymphocytes, low neutrophils and white cell count. I know endocrinologist will do his own tests but am trying to keep regular tests to see my overall health post cancer etc.
