Ct values and (RT-PCR) SARS-CoV-2 tests -ASK FOR YOUR Ct VALUE before making radical treatment decisions
(I try to avoid Covid-19 comments or on molecular virology/biology on this forum, but this one seems appropriate given RoyProp's post. The use of Ct values is controversial, so don't assume anything I say is gospel, but plenty of studies are available to substantiate what I suggest. Look for Dr. Mina's

Active b12 vs total b12
I had some vitamins and minerals tested, and my active b12 came back as 46.6 pmol/l with range of 37.5 to 188. I can't find much info on the active b12 test. Or what optimal should be, only the total b12 test. My folate is also low at 7.59 nmol. I've had two years of increasing neurological symptoms,

Possible depletion of other forms of vitamin b
I was wondering if anyone has researched any link with depletion of any of the other forms of Vitamin b. For example, b 2? We know we have a vitamin B12 deficiency. Lots on here (myself included) also have low b9 (folate). Given the fact that many of us still feel major fatigue, despite being treated

So sensitive subject... I had a water infection or so I thought(again!) and went to the doctors leukocytes were detected and it was sent off to the labs. Pressure in my bladder persisted but according to the receptionist the following week when I rang as I suffered in silence my notes were messaged

Use of B complex
Hi gang. I read the other day that PWPs are often deficient in several B vitamins. So I went and ordered a B complex from Amazon. I have two issues though that I’d be grateful if anybody could inform me of: firstly, how often? Daily, weekly? Also, there appears to be a school of thought that such a supplement

What should we ask at hospital?
Happy new year to you all. I wonder if you can help. As previously posted my partner has decompensated cirrhosis, portal hypertension, enlarged spleen and has now developed ascites. He's been laid up for about 8 weeks with no improvement. He can't sit up to eat and lays in bed all the time. He can make

Should I stop using herbal blends before blood tests?
As I shared on someone else’s post, I had what I think may have been COVID some weeks ago. Raised temperature, headache, tight chest, sore throat, swollen glands, loss of taste and smell, diarrhoea, nervy pains in my fingers and toes, extreme exhaustion. I had little appetite for about ten days. One

Pain threshold?
Am I being a wimp & just need to man up? I really don’t know how I’m meant to feel or if the level of aches & pain I’m experiencing is ‘normal’ or as expected - can anyone tell me how they feel and deal with this ? I’m struggling in the mornings with stiff legs, lower back pain getting out of bed. Then

Advice wanted on supplements to take to try and manage osteoporosis the natural way
I have osteoporosis and don't want to take medication and want to go the natural route to stop bone loss/ possibly increase it slightly. I am trying to sort out what supplements to take, and am getting confused. A definite bit of advice coming through it to take organic calcium, eg Algecal. This

B12 and folate relationship.
I understand that B12 and folate are both B vitamins and essential for the production of healthy blood cells but not sure of their relationship to/interaction with one another. My B12 is borderline (233 ng/L) and folate sub-threshold (3.0 ug/L). That they're both low can't be a coincidence. I presume
