I want to the dentist four days ago I had two teeth surgically removed. A few hours after having them removed while my face was still numb (not a good Idea) I try to take an amoxicillin, and because I couldn't feel my face I couldn't tell where the pill was in my mouth, And then I wound up inhaling the

Need some feedback...
After my last visit with my onco it was decided that I still do not need IVIG and to take an antibiotic and viral medicine when needed - Visited a new dentist yesterday as old one retired and was put thru the paces with a myriad of X-rays and poking around my mouth. My rt eye and temple hurt and finally

Hay fever turned to COPD. Can this happen?
Went to Dr's due to chest infection. Expected to be given antibiotics but Sent to hospital? Pneumonia. Was admitted put on Iv abx. Consultant said not pneumonia, xray showed lower respiratory infection with signs of COPD. I was in total shock. Could this be right? I don't have asthma, just hay fever

I'm chuffed!
I can't believe I've gone nearly 4 months without a chest infection! After two years of monthly infections it's amazing. I had an infection in early Feb and also had a urine infection, so the doctor put me on an antibiotic I hadn't had before as she said it would sort both infections out. It certainly

Recurring chest infection- not asthmatic
I do not suffer from asthma, but I’ve had recurring chest infections, once with fluid on the lungs, I have pains in my chest and back and feel totally exhausted. I’m on Clarithromycin atm, but previously had Amoxycillin I’m not sure whether I actually have pneumonia?? Any ideas or help ... I would

A good example of NHS muddle
Ten days ago I was rushed into hospital under blues and twos, having developed a chest infection which exacerbated my asthma. The paramedics were brilliant - once they arrived - 25 minutes is a long time to wait when every breath is a mammoth effort. Anyway, nebulisation, hospitalisation and then a mountain

Frustrated by hospital experience
I'm new here so please be kind! I'm pretty sure that the experience of the last few days won't surprise many, but just how hopeless can a Hospital be in looking after an asthma patient? The early hours of Sunday morning saw a very breathless me whizzing off under blue lights and sirens to the local DGH

Extreme Tinnitus (ear infection?) - Help!
Something very strange has been happening to me since late February, and I'm rather worried. I wondered if anyone here has any suggestions (I'm seeing an ENT tomorrow). Timeline is this: Feb 21st: A nightclub decides to move into my head with an array of thumping-banging-booming sounds IN MY HEAD (
