can the doctors be right
Dear wast,
I don't know 'what it is' but it's the 'What It Could Be', that worries me. I think that, in your position, I would ask for a Scan- of the entire 'Area'. (S)He may ask why, or even resist, this request. However, since you are clearly worried, I would Stick To Your Guns. If it truly is 'Nothing', then fine.......
Please do let us know wast, will you.
Sending you all our Kindest Wishes.

What scan do you think is indicated ?
The symptoms do sound possibly like a urinary infection or check infection.
How long have you had the problem ? Things take time to clear up !
Maybe if it continues your doctor will offer a chest x- ray but due process has to be followed.
What about undue radiation, what about the cost if everyone decides to have scans or tests they think appropriate ? How would the NHS afford it ? Should we even have doctors or should people be able to insist for scans for every problem meaning. No one medically qualified is needed.
What then happens when the patient with red flags comes along with symptoms suggestive of a tumour and there are no scans for months due to everyone and their dog being booked in ?
Hi wast. You don't say what the doctor said the antbiotics were for ? Some infections take longer than others to clear up. Finish the course and then if there is no improvement go back.
