Alpha Lipoic Acid and anti-Coagulants
I have also been advised by the G.P. and pharmacist that I should try
Amitriptyline
, but from what I have read that can give problems to those of us who have AF. A friend told me that she has seen an article recommending Alpha Lipoic Acid.

Pain remedy pack - does yours look like this?
This is helping the period-like cramps that come with spotting - Buscopan for cramps -
Amitriptyline
20mg/day taken in evening (taking these for 2 wks + now with some reduction in pain). Endo nurse advised increasing at 10mg/week until pain was ok, or side effects bothersome, up to max 50mg/day.

PMR and Ocular Shingles
They have given him anti virals,
amitriptyline
and two different eye drops. I have just today picked up some liquid morphine for him as nothing seems to be dulling the pain. They say he has to wait until the drugs start to work which could take a few days - I feel so sorry for him.

Diltiazem and Amitriptyline
Does anyone take diltiazem and
amitriptyline
at the same time . My GP has prescribed
amitriptyline
(25mg) and I take 200mg of diltiazem daily. The reason for the
amitriptyline
is to help reduce my anxiety and to replace diazepam , which has been very helpful, but I can't stay on diazepam im told.

nortriptyline - treat IBS, functional heartburn and depression?
It’s similar to
Amitriptyline
and didn’t do anything for me expect experience terrible effects. I’m wondering if I’m going to go down the same route with nortriptyline? I also read an American paper that it can help ease IBS?!

Heart Failure
The medication change was: Stopping the following completely: Losartan, co-amilofruse (I was on maximum dose),
amitriptyline
Reducing dose of bisoprolol I’ve now been prescribed Spironolactone. Has anyone had a similar experience? Kind regards, David

18 months of sensory overload and headaches
Since then, I’ve been working my way through the list of treatments he suggested – propranolol, topiramate,
amitriptyline
and now most recently candesartan.

My horrendous sciatica journey, facing being in a wheelchair due to endo. (Long, sorry)
It doesn't seem I am going to get anything done about this anytime soon, I am going to have to consider something like
Amitriptyline
in a bit, but that is not going to give me back my mobility is it.
