I have been using Amitriptyline for quite some years now and I am not so sure that it is helping with my IBSD, does anyone have any other medications that they have tried and are effective??

Not sure these are good long term tbh. I was given these as part of the after treatment from the lasting effects of h pylori. I didn’t know I was giving them until I went to the the chemist. So at that point I refused them and was cross with my doctor. I made sure they removed it from my records. These meds are used for various conditions like nerve control, pain, and mental well-being. They can be used for drying out the colon. I’ve got a pilots license so for that reason can cause issues with medicals .
