Feet pain
Amitriptyline
is helping but not completely and over last week or so pain is there all the time from base of my toes across the top of my foot to my ankle. It feels like burning/prickling sensation.

Confusion
Hi, I'm new to this site but was wondering if anyone is taken Thyroxine and Endep (
amitriptyline
) and if so if they've had any side effects like confusion and brain processing.

Heart burn
I have now been given
Amitriptyline
. One of the side effects is a dry mouth. Which is making my dry mouth even worse. I have now got heartburn. Do I keep talking the tablets. Or put up with this terrible Heart burn it's a vicious circle. X

He also put me on
amitriptyline
which has considerably reduced my need for codeine and oramorph (after 4 years of just being given large quantities of cocodamol, but never enough, and being told to 'get on with it’).

Amitriptyline and thyroid
In the past I've only taken 5mg
amitriptyline
but it didn't keep me asleep properly so 10mg is the most I've ever taken daily. Seeing GP tomorrow to discuss. Thoughts welcome!

Want a second opinion on diagnosis
I'm currently taking large doses of cocodamol, tramadol, naproxen,
amitriptyline
, and the combined contraceptive pill just to get through the day. Last week I had a laparoscopy to see if it was endometriosis but the consultant failed to come and see me to tell me what happened after.

Looking for support
I requested to start
Amitriptyline
and have been taking 20mg a day for the last 7 months; partly to hopefully help with period pain relief and partly for feelings of depression.

Hydroxycarbamide and Amitriptyline
I have been taking
Amitriptyline
10mg for some time for back ache. Last week I started to take Hydroxy for PV. Amitrip has a dehydrating effect which of course is not good with the hydroxy. I have a feeling that someone had posted and been prescribed an alternative to Amitrip.

Hiya all, I told my rheumatologist about my RLS, and the fact it was getting unbearable, so he prescribed 10mg of
Amitriptyline
. I've been taking it for about 2 months now, and it has worked, no more RLS.

I was prescribed
Amitriptyline
for stomach/chest pain and for a short while it worked well enough (although I still had a little pain). My dose was increased from 10 mg to 50mg. However, the more severe pains have returned.

Can the pill increase pain or is it an coincidence?
I am under the pain team and have been started on
Amitriptyline
and Pregabalin and have also been started on Yasmin. During my second pill free week (just gone) I didn't have a period, which is very odd for me so my GP advised I did a pregnancy test (which was negative).
