PMR – A newly diagnosed story so far
Warning – This is a bit long and you may find it boring! I wanted to share my recent experiences as someone who has only recently begun the PMR experience. I am a 55 year old man who shouldn’t get Polymyalgia….right?? When my pain began late in 2022 I had no idea what it might be and put off going

Has anyone gotten chest pains as a side effect to taking prozac. I started it today and my chest is killing me. I've taken literally everything else, hospitalization, ECT, TMS and ketamine. It's my last hope. I need it to work. I've been very suicidal and bad Anxiety. Can anyone help please, I'm desperate

Why do I have heart palpitations with these thyroid results?
Hello beautiful people. I would love to get your input as to why I get heart palpitations, high pulse and HBP with my current thyroid and other results. Yes, my TSH is slightly raised, but it actually went down from 6.9 in Nov to 4.9 in Feb on Levo 75 mcg, so it should continue to go down. I've

Depression/anxiety won't stop
I can't take this anymore. It's just to much, I've had enough pain. Why wont it stop. Just leave me alone. What do I do? I don't want the ER, the hospital won't help me, I need therapy and life skills. All the hospital does is give you scrubs and feed you. I have no idea how I'm going to work tomorrow

A long post - How medication was ruining my life, not making me better! Reassurance for anyone concerned about stopping medication.
Hi ladies. A very Happy New Year to you all! I am hoping that 2023 treats you all with improved health and a wealth of happiness. I have seen a lot of posts recently appearing on my feed regarding treatments and hormones, and so I just wanted to share my recent experience of stopping all treatments.

Not reacting well to T3
Hello All, I wonder if there are people here who have not reacted well to T3? This is the second time I'm trying to take it. First time, it was about 5 years ago when I needed to raise my T3, it was at 20% range. I took just 5mcg of compounded T3 as per my Doc advice and started to feel anxious,

So much pain. What did I do to deserve this. I'm treading water and sinking.
I have a good psychiatrist but ive been looking for a second opinion or a new one. Im not getting any better. But very few are taking new patients. I don't want some random person from the internet. I started calling the hospitals. Mount Sinai hospital seems to have a good treatment resistant depression

Herniated/Buldged disk?
I have had awful back pain since september. I did not injure my back but I remember feeling the exact moment of the onset. I was sat in the car in a slightly hunched position. My upper spine began to feel almost bruised all of a sudden and as though someone had battered it with a hammer several times

video: Low-dose ketamine produces long-term reduction in levodopa-induced dyskinesia
https://youtu.be/4sygods1Txk Preclinical data has previously suggested that low-dose ketamine treatment has short-term antiparkinsonian activity and can reduce levodopa-induced dyskinesia in the long term after an initial 10-hour total treatment. Torsten Falk, PhD, University of Arizona, Tuscon, AZ

Restless legs syndrome ( RSL)
I'd like to ask anyone who has this condition, what medication due you take? and how you manage this condition. I have had RSL for about 40 years. When I first went to the Doctors about it., he said he said there is no such thing? Anyway, about 6 month ago I was offered a a referral to the Hospital

Acid Reflux and Heartburn. What they wont tell you.
When it comes to Acid Reflux and Heartburn there is something that doctors won't tell you and that is that there are two completely different reasons for Acid Reflux and Heartburn. You can have these issues either because you got too much acid in your stomach or you could have these issues because you

How I almost got trapped by a mental health exploit
Freakin pisses me off to no end how people think that because I have struggles with mental health SOMEHOW that must mean I'm a complete idiot. Well, I almost got trapped today by an advertisement to see if I would be a "Ketamine Candidate". I'm actually angry at myself because, although I'm certainly
