Acid Reflux and Heartburn. What they wont tell you.

When it comes to Acid Reflux and Heartburn there is something that doctors won't tell you and that is that there are two completely different reasons for Acid Reflux and Heartburn. You can have these issues either because you got too much acid in your stomach or you could have these issues because you got too little acid in your stomach.

The bottom part of our stomach has something called pepsin, very acidic then the top part of the stomach has the acid. Imagine now if your low on stomach acid and get heartburn then and then, so you keep taking anti acids, well you keep getting worse. you burn through more and more of the acid that you want to keep. Eventually anti acids at the drugstore wont work anymore cause you got no acid left, now you only got the pepsin.

The reason for us to have the acid in the top part is already to prevent the pepsin to go up our chest or throats.. imagine. If you are too low on stomach acid or your depleted.. stop taking anti acids. There are ways to get your acid back. There are Betaine HCL with pepsin and then there are Betaine HCL without pepsin, it depends if you need both or just one. Check out "Dr. Eric Berg DC" channel on youtube, he will explain how many to take etc. He got many different videos on GERD/Acid Reflux/Heartburn etc. He is amazing. But specifically, if you wanna know about Betaine HCL and how it works and what dosage to take etc, watch the video called "How to STOP Acid Reflux Instantly" He cured me. GL! 👍

So,I heard before.Never mention this, because I am not a doctor. Can not make diagnoses. However,in order to know this, you must definitely be diagnosed by a doctor. If someone take Betaine HCL and there is too much acid,it will make heartburn worse. However,I agree it can sometimes be too little acid, causes heartburn. In any case, you still always need a doctor,s diagnoses ,first.

When tums make your heartburn worse, like it did for me. That's when you know. But it got fixed real fast. 3 days. Betaine HCI. Most people don't have the issue with too little acid, the reason I had the issue with too little acid is because all I drink is lime or lemon juice mixed with water. Lime and Lemon juice are acidic in nature, but once it enters your stomach it turns very alkaline.

Hm, I just realized, wouldn't that be a good cure for people with too much acid. The way I drink it is 1 tablespoon of lemon or lime juice, mixed with 2 tablespoons of cranberry juice in a big glass of still water, 16 oz.
