About to panic! :(
So I have this issue where I constantly worry. Worry that I'm going to have a heart attack. Last night I started to have so sharp random pains under my left breast that when into the ribs along with pain ( like soreness) around my armpit/shoulder. It happened when I was laying down. Finally fell asleep

Symptoms are back again......
I've been away from this site for about 2 months I suppose. I had a health scare in Feb and went to the Heart Hospital. I'm 35 year old male and see a cardiologist due to high blood pressure and high cholesterol (all hereditary). Anyways, long story short, the er nurse thought I had a cardiac event

sometimes I feel so crappy with my panic attacks. my arm gets numb my left one and its hard to breathe. then you google and it says heart attack , then you go to hospital and they don't take tests they just tell you its a panick attack. I don't feel confident by them just looking at me and saying that

Why does my anxiety trigger a fear of having a heart attack
I just found this thread this evening as i am dealing with anxiety. It all started about a month ago. My mom and my two siblings came down to visit and my 2 year old got sick and it was horrible. I couldn't sleep I was having major indigestion which then lead me to believe I was having a heart attack

I think I stopped a panic attack
This was super scary. I was eating and it's Normal for your heart rate to elevate when your eating. But I started to panic and my heart began to beat faster. I legit thought I was having a heart attack. For the past couple of days, it feels like my heart is pounding but when I check my heart rate, it's

Heart attack, or anxiety.
I had silent heart attack 20 yrs ago. Since then I have been to A and E about 8 times with symptoms similar to first. Dullness in shoulder, uncomfortable chest, arm especially left dull and listless. After e c g and blood test usually kept in for 12 hours. Finally released as suffering either anxiety

what to do and feel directly after a heart attack?
Hi, again! If youve read my other posts you will know im not a run of the mill heart problem person, heart damage with clear arteries ie vascular spasms that squease my arteries and stop or slow down blood supply to anything down stream, they stop squeased for 20 to 40 min and it can happen anywhere

I just wanted to start off to say that I'm new here and it's nice to meet all of you but I want to point out that I have had chest pains along with some arm pains like in my left shoulder and I felt like I was having a heart attack and I don't know but that subsided and now I'm feeling tightness or pains

New to the forum - introduction
First time poster here. Have recently just started researching anxiety. The past 18 months of my life I have just felt not right. I feel like I have terrible sicknesses. I will look up some symptoms and find one or two and think I have those terrible diseases. The main thing I'm scared of is having

What does a Panic Attack feel like?
8 years ago I went to the ER for what ended up being Palpitations. Ive had them on and off over the next 8 years until this weekend. They started Sat at a baseball game. The Sunday I got what I never had before with the palpitations. I felt lightheaded. I walked it off in a panic. Then yesterday I was

Well, first time posting here. Just over 10 days ago my lovely dad who was active and vibrant took a massive stroke. I rushed to his side and went into overdrive for the next week. I grieved immensely for the father I had lost, he is still in hospital but is not the same person. I started to feel

What do anticoagulants reduce our stroke risk to?
Me again :) I keep reading online that afib increases rid of stroke 5-6 fold (depending on the source). Whatever the stats it's clearly a huge risk. What is not clear is whether they mean that's the risk WITHOUT anticoagulant or even with it. If you are on the drug, by roughly how much does it reduce

Is it possible to live with symptoms without beta blockers and just have anticoagulent?
Hi there I have PAF and can live with it, other than the fear of stroke or heart attack. I am seeing consultant next week and want to be clued up so I'm not fobbed off. In a nutshell I want to know if I can not bother with beta blockers and just mitigate stroke risk with anticoagulant? Or is there
