Hi there
I am wondering whether the Pain Concern forum may be able to answer your question more fully?

You're correct in thinking that Fibro is all about pain, but there is so much more to it, sadly. A diagnosis is usually made after years of symptoms and once all tests etc for other conditions have ruled them out.
Following a heart attack there are a myriad of reasons for pain. Your GP won't be able to pin point anything without further tests, but at least he is open to the possibility of Fibro.
Fibro is usually diagnosed by a rheumatologist. Your GP will need to refer you to one once he's ruled everything else out. I'm really sorry that I can't say more to help. Having a heart attack leaves us feeling vulnerable. Dr Google is a bad Dr. Try to trust in your GP. He knows a lot more than we do as we're not medically trained. I hope you get some answers to your questions very soon 🐸
Hi bluedave789
I am so genuinely sorry to read that you are suffering and struggling after your heart attack, and I sincerely hope that you can find some resolution and relief to these issues. As your other respondents have already said, there could be so many reasons why this is happening? I would keep plugging away at your doctors until they can give you a reason?
I want to sincerely wish you all the best of luck, and please take care of yourself.
All my hopes and dreams for you
Ken
