Liver tests all high
I have had my gallbladder removed 20+ years ago. I got my blood tests from my pho last week and my alk phos was 175, my GGT 222, my alt and ast were elevated. I have no liver disease symptoms. I drink 3-4 drinks a week. What is it?

Hi, I was having a bunch of symptoms that may be thyroid related and the doctor ordered some tests and I need help in determining what they mean. I had numerous other types of blood work done but these are the ones I believe are strictly Thyroid. The list over the last few days: PROTHROMBIN TIME Oct

Study shows positive effects of CBD (not THC) on prostate cancer
I see the question of medical mariguana asked here often. I personally have tried using the "gram per day" method and each time it coincided with a new risING trend in my alk phos initially then the PSA. Study showed CBD to be benefitial for prostate cancer. Cannabis, Medical Marijuana, and Prostate

I've not posted here for some time and I've NOT been diagnosed by my GP with thyroid issues (yet)! However, I've just had my annual blood test in connection with my type 2 diabetes which is diet controlled i.e. no meds or insulin. The surgery phoned me a few days after the blood test asking me to phone

New Member Obssessed With ALS
I went to the doctors and told her about my concern about
ALS
. She diagnosed that the mouth weakness is due to TMJ and had me get an X-ray for my foot that showed mild arthritis in my knee. She has dismissed my knee and concern about

Struggling with facing anxiety
But the other part of me is so sure I have
ALS
. I am constantly finding health issues that I think I have. I am googling symptoms daily. I wake up daily wondering if I will die that day. Everyday I worry a family member or friend will die.

Cabazitaxel failing- what's next?
My husband's cancer seems to be progressing once again. He's had 3 very short lived treatments in 1 year- docetaxel 6 rounds, Zytiga 1.5 months and cabazitaxel 7 rounds. The cancer has metastasized to his lungs besides being in the bones, so radium 233 is out of the question. He's started to have shortness
