morbid thoughts
I know that in the next few months at least my stress levels are going to be even higher than normal due to my daughter being diagnosed with
alopecia
and obviously needing emotional support.

Childhood Memory Blanks
Saw an old school photo from 1957 recently (juniors). Even then I remember having memory blanks. Teacher would be talking, but I had no idea what was being said until I clicked back on again if that makes sense. I had abdominal migraine then and the teacher was very worried about me. The doctor

GF for 20 months and hair still shedding. Thanks.
Among the many symptoms I had before diagnosis was hairloss. The shedding is not in patches it's thinning all over. I was told by the doctor I had male pattern balding. He come to this conclusion without even looking at my head and I had my hair tied up. I wasn't in the least convinced about this as

Could this suggest PA..?
He wants me to start HRT, and steroids for the
alopecia
. I'm not convinced at all and don't want to take unnecessary hormones without good reason. I feel sure that there's something going on related to absorbing nutrients and something neurological.

Why is the ANA + thing SO important?? (Pre referral!?)
I have nearly every single symptom on the list that doctors look at and many that aren't on, and
Alopecia
, Raynaud's which has been witnessed by GP, EDS and endometriosis which I've had for many years.

Hair Loss
Hi Everyone I would be very grateful for advice on hair loss which is getting a bit scary now. I don't have bald patches and thankfully as I had good thickish hair I am not showing any baldness, however I can't sustain the daily loss indefinately. I have been to my Doctor providing photographic proof

Hair loss
Hair loss I was diagnosed with an underactive thyroid and Hashimoto's 2 years ago at 27 years old. Since taking my medication most of my symptoms seemed to improve slightly although I suffered 3 miscarriages in those 2 years and feel that my thyroid played a big part in this as my levels are quite erratic

Do you find that autoimmune disease runs in your family?
I have two daughters with RA/ Fibro/
Alopecia
/ and Psorisis. I am adopted so I am very curious. My adopted mother died from scleroderma which makes me wonder if it isn't environmental. I know, it's probably both. I am just interested in hearing from others. Thanks

Facial changes on half of my face, neuro changes, high antibodies in 08
I do have
alopecia
on the left side of my hairline too where the hairline is receding above my eyebrow. My hair has been falling out for almost a year and I have been under lots of stress so my PCP has been telling me not to worry about it.
