hayfever triggering asthma

Does CLL leave you more vulnerable to allergies?
Hi everyone Does anyone know if our condition means we’re more susceptible to allergies? I’m really struggling at the moment with what appears to be hay fever and maybe dust allergy. It’s making me feel quite unwell. I used to have hay fever as a child but grew out of it. Also we live in an old

Intolerance and allergy advice please
At first, my son had all the allergies: peanuts, egg, milk and always had a reaction to most new foods. Now he is 15 months old and is on the milk ladder; slowly climbing up on step 2 of ladder and doing really well with milk desensitisation. He also reacts less to new foods and building up his tolerance

Hi Guys Some insight / info for general discussion and rumination! I did not have asthma or hay fever as a child. I developed Asthma in my 30’s and when pregnant 20 years ago it was really bad. I have attended an asthma clinic each year with GP to review treatment - usually to continue with steroid

Lung symptoms vs eye and nose symptoms
To those who are on "systemic" drugs for allergic asthma, what do you notice in terms of control of your lung symptoms vs control of allergic symptoms in the eyes and the nose? Do the systemic drugs resolve the lungs, nose, and eye symptoms altogether, or do the drugs only work for some, but not for

I do a peak flow when I feel like this.. and my peak flow is 800! Top of the charts. I feel like this every summer. Is this asthma symptom? I also

Hay Fever
Good Morning all you warriors. I have developed mild hay fever at the ripe old age of 69 (clearly I don’t have enough going on!!). I bought some otc anti-histamine and have taken them for the last 3 days but I’ve felt really awful (pain mostly & worse in the evening). I’m giving them a miss today

Perennial Rhinitis
Morning everyone I suffer throughout the year with allergies/sinus problems but stopped taking anything to prevent it when I was initially diagnosed with AF. Does anyone know of any hay fever meds that are ok to take and hopefully won’t trigger AF? Many thanks

Hay fever season 🌸🌻
Have you noticed that your hay fever affects your breathing? For many people with lung conditions, hay fever (an allergic reaction to pollen) can affect their breathing and make lung symptoms worse. Pollen count is high at the moment so it’s important to get on top of your symptoms before they get

Possible IBS but GP doesn’t know for sure…..
Hi. I’m really stuck with what’s going on with my body and movements. At the end of March I had what I thought was a standard tummy bug, I didn’t think much of it. After 4 days of diarrhoea and not eating (even water was going through) I tried eating a plain piece of bread. Needless to say that didn’

allergies, asthma and polyps
Good morning. I’ve been on Benralizumab for two years now. It has been extremely successful in treating my atopic eosinophilic asthma, going from monthly chest infections to zero and I am extremely grateful. Like many asthma sufferers I am allergic to many things; cats, dogs, all types of pollen

Further problems with allergy - what to do?
In February I wrote a post about an allergy crisis that I had just had, and many of you responded very kindly with good feedback and information. The situation has however developed and I am now feeling more at a loss than before and would certainly appreciate further comments and feedback. I will

Food allergy & intolerance tests
I’ve done the FODMAP diet & came off several food groups , mainly gluten & lactose , but because my symptoms are very up & down I’ve never managed to reintroduce them . I’m under a nutritionist & on several different herbal supplements for gut dysbiosis , but not seeing any improvement for the IBS -

Non Allergic Rhinitis when taking Bisoprolol
I would really like to hear from other members if they have suffered with the above whilst taking Bisoprolol. I’ve now been taking 1.25mg daily coming up to one year on the 1st March. Over the last week or so I’ve been experiencing extremely sensitive eyes, stuffy/runny nose starting from mid morning
