I have been waiting for a allergy test for 2 years so my specialist can prescribe medication for psoriasis arthritis. Has any one else had the same problem.

IBS and Amitriptyline
I have started taking Amitriptyline 10mg a day for Post infectious IBS-D. The whole week was ok with no symptoms but since yesterday, it started again while I ate some food out of my diet routine. My question is do I need to stick to low FODMAP diet while taking medicine or can I eat any food? Also

Humidifier versus Dehumidifier
I'm Severe Asthmatic and I also suffer from Frequent sinus infections, allergies and ear problems. I've heard good things about Humidifiers and Dehumidifiers for Asthma but I'm not sure which one would be better for me, my house also has issues with mould and damp. Could someone advise me on this?

Possible histamine related allergy NDT
Hello A week ago had my prescription for NDT doubled from 1/4 grain to 1/2 grain twice a day. I've been on 1/4 grain for 6 months. In the last month I have noticed my anti-histamine reactions have become quite bad. Does anyone know if NDT is high histamine? it comes from pork which supposedly is

Cough at night
Hello. Do any of you struggle with a cough at night? I suspect an allergy to dust or cat hair. Every night I wake up with a cough. 2-3am. I'm tired of it, but I think it's 100% allergy because when I take benadryl allergy for a few days, the symptoms stop, but benadryl cannot be used for longer than

Nasal polyps no asthma
I was constantly sniffling for months after having a cold and bad chest, i assumed hayfever or an allergy. Eventually got in at the gp and he told me I had a nasal polyp. Was given flixonase which I have been on for over a week now. Have about 8 weeks worth of drops. This morning got a letter to make

toothpaste trigger?
last night when I was brushing my teeth my asthma really kicked off, I couldn’t breathe out so couldn’t breathe in. Luckily I had an inhaler in the bathroom. I’ve struggled to breathe when brushing my teeth before but never as badly as this. Does anyone else struggle with toothpaste? Is sensitivity

BRONCHIECTASIS….PLUS Allergic to medical face mask…any non polypropylene/TPE ones available?
Hi I’m having a nightmare with my bronchiectasis, I’ve had numerous exacerbations this year, use my rescue pack and prednisone when needed…cant remember being well in all honesty. I had HIB in April and given Levofloxacin as Doxycycline won’t shift my HIB. Think I had HIB in 2015, 2016, 2018 and 2023

Can allergies lead to fever?
Hi, I have a strange situation that has happened 3 times since May. I am sick, with chills, fever, headache, general achiness, sore throat, fatigue… fever goes up to about 101.. All 3 times, I went for a long walk on a very windy breezy day when there was a lot of pollen flying around. I was sick

Hi, I have Sjogren’s and osteoporosis among other things. I’m due to have a CT scan on my lungs with contrast dye. I suffer with many allergies and wondered if anyone on here has had an adverse reaction to this iodine based dye? Many thanks 😊

Can Hayfever make my Hypothyroidism worse ?
Hi I’m wondering if my Hayfever is making my Hypothyroidism worse? And if so does anyone know any tips on how to get it back level? I’ve read a little about histamine and that it can affect your T4/T3 but I’m not really sure, I’ve had particularly bad Hayfever over the last few weeks and I’m starting
