Pudental Neuralgia
Prior to having a Spinal Cord Stimulator implanted I had another lumbar MRI. I knew from an earlier MRI I had a bulging L5S1 disc This MRI showed the L5S1 disc had ruptured. I have read on line this can lead to Caudal Equina Syndrome as well as cause compression of Pudental nerve via the Piriformis

Blood clots and blood in urine (no radiation)
My husband had a TURP 8/4/17 (in history below) but has not had any other surgery. Had second round of taxotere last week...next one in two weeks. He's had mild blood in urine since two days after first chemo. A few small clots. Onc says to keep an eye on it. He's away for business this week and just

ANA test
Hello. I looked at my lab work and noticed that my anti-nuclear antibody pattern is positive but my anti-nuclear antibody (hep2) is negative. How can that be? My AMA is positive but it's the two ANAs that are different that puzzles me. Does anyone know the difference?

So frustrated
I was really hoping today would be the day that I got some answers but no such luck. My doctor referred me on to a gynea as while my scan came back consistent with polycistic ovaries again, my testosterone is low (actually close to under normal levels, despite being high in the past - I wondered though

My profile info is below... In our visit for chemo yesterday his bloodwork came back with elevated ALT/AST/BUN-Creatinine ratio- you can see numbers below. Confused by Rheumy appointment and everything else. Please advise? At my wits end 😓
Hi everyone. It's been a while since I posted last. Alot has went on so I'll recap quickly: - Positive Ana, Ena, C reactive protein, Ro and elevated platelets in Dec 16. Referral to Rheumatology. 33 weeks wait until appointment. - Overactive thyroid discovered in June 17 when I got viral meningitis.

What next? Test results are normal....
Hi all, after many months of lurking, have finally signed up as I'm at my wits end as to what to do. Back in May 2017, after many years of prevaricating for fear of being treated like the village hypochondriac, I finally went to see my GP about the myriad of symptoms I was feeling. He ordered a full

how I turned round my depressions
When I was born, my mother didn't bond with me, as a result, I didn't eat properly. I grow up with an eating disorder of which I was completely unaware. I'm like an iron board, very skinny. Depressions where normal all my life but never wanted to take antidepressants as I am very obstinate. Only over

Feeling a bit lost and confused...
Hi everyone, this is my first post here. As the title says I’m feeling a bit confused at the moment, and I’m hoping someone can shed some light on my situation or share their stories too. I’m 29 and I live in Essex. After quite a few viral infections and long investigations, I was diagnosed with Fibromyalgia

Would All Autoimmune Diseases Have a Positive ANA? Low White Blood Cell Count
Hi, everyone. I'm not quite sure if this belongs in this group, but I know it's very active and worth asking. Admins, please let me know if you'd like me to remove it. So about a year ago (maybe a year and a half now), I noticed I was having unexplained weight loss (now about 30% of my total BW!!).

Yet another blood tests results
Hi guys, after my concerns with previous blood results (from endo), I went to see my new GP and asked if any of it can be addressed. Initially I found her to be more perceptive than any other doctor before. After showing her my results and describing my symptoms she ordered her own blood tests altogether

Waiting for ANA results
I'm 46 and have been having spells of unwellness throughout my life. At 18 I was in hospital for weeks with HSP & ongoing kidney issues which got better in time. I was told that it was quite rare to get HSP as an adult & I would never get it again. I've had many bouts throughout my adulthood some more

Help with test results and what to do...........
Apologies in advance as this may seem a long post. Below are my three recent sets of test results - following the March 2017 results my GP placed me on a low dose (25mg) of Levothyroxine. Following the June results, I saw my GP as I was experiencing dizzy spells and tiredness, which were new symptoms

Ultrasound Vs Fibroscan
Hello Everyone, Well, it's been almost 1 year since I was diagnosed with PBC. I couldn't tolerate URSO at first, so I actually didn't get started on it until February of this year. I've had labs done pretty regularly (approx every 3 weeks) at first because they were watching my LFT's, but then my

Nervo Spinal Cord Stimulation
I am new to the site. I am considering the use of the Nervo device to relieve my pain. I am signed up for the trial next month and I wonder if anyone who has had experience with the device would share the benefits and any bad news.
