Amioderone
Something that may be useful knowledge..... My respiratory consultant is trying to find the cause of my pulmonary hypertension. Fibrosis has been ruled out. He said that it was very good that I had never taken amioderone as it can cause pulmonary fibrosis and that I must never take it. I had an injection

PBC and Hepatitis
Hi Everyone, Festive greeting for all on the first day of December. I was confirmed PBC 2 1/2 years ago with blood tests and liver biopsy. A week ago I saw my specialist after my GP had phoned him with some concerns. The consultant told me from original blood works done on me he thought I had both PBC

depression?
I am considering taking st johns wort. I cannot motivate myself and have felt like it for a couple of months but it is becoming harder to even get dressed on a morning, when I say morning I cannot get out of bed before 11am even though I have had a good nights sleep. Daily tasks seem like mountains

Urso and hair loss
Hi Is there anyone out there that can tell me if they are taking urso and it is having NO effect on their hair? I'm reading stories about hair thinning and was hoping to hear if anyone's hair has not been affected?

There was I, this afternoon, idly looking at patchwork patterns 'cos I have some Charm squares to use...free patterns it says...but you have to sign up first for the newsletter and that means choosing a feckin' password and a user name, which I honestly can't be bothered with and anyway the stupid newsletter

Selenium Supplementation - Background Information
Below are several references to documents about selenium - I have included short extracts in most cases. It is well worth reading at least some of them before supplementing with selenium. Be aware that excess selenium is most definitely to be avoided. [i]

Here are the ways to get rid of sodium fluoride in your body.
Brazil nuts full of selenium are one of them, and I love my Nuts, I take 4 a day, have done for a couple of years, we need selenium to help convert T4 to T3. So here is yet another interesting article:- http://consciouslifenews.com/fluoride-detox-heres-system/1145227/

Peeping Over The Parapet...
We have all we need...food on the table and warmth when it's cold...enough clothes and hot water and a loo that flushes. We have good neighbours and a reliable car and just enough money to spare for hobbies... There are our pets...the kittens who snuggle up and purr in my ear at night...the dogs Himself

Acute Viral Hepatitis or Autoimmune Hepatitis sufferers
It's been nearly 4mths now since I came down with what is believed to be acute viral hepatitis (but I'm being monitored also for autoimmune hepatitis and sludge in my gallbladder.) the pain is as bad as when I was first admitted to hospital where I spent the month of July.... sleeping on my right quadrant

Dental work
I have root resorption on one of my front teeth, the dentist will have to remove it and either fit an implant or I will have a denture on a plate instead. My GP said I need to stop my warfarin for a day before and two days after and have heparin instead, he said the dentist should arrange this. When

Setback.
I knew it would happen, and my six-week-chunk-conditioned brain spat out the dummy, threw the toys out of the pram, and parked itself square in the middle of the aisle today. I'm OK, but today was my first brain-fog at work, coming up to eight months post aneurysm-rupture. Being me, I had a little cry
