Long protocol, ICSI, AMH 10.6 and Adenomyosis - has anyone had any experience with this combination?

Due to my age and adenomyosis they are putting me on long protocol so egg collection will be towards end April. We are having ICSI due to low sperm count. I have read

Cancelled cycle high responder to low response! The irony 🤯
Updated: Morning everyone. Just an update from me. Had my second scan this morning and still only 2 follicles are responding (10mm and 14mm) I've said I want to cancel and am waiting on Dr calling me. It's a very unusual response given that I spent all of last year battling with over responding, ohss

16 eggs collected only one fertilised and transferred
Has anyone else had a similar experience with a positive outcome? I am 43 just startng ivf as when we were tested 18mths ago we were told we had a good chance of conceiving naturally (my 3.5 year old was conceived naturally at 39). AMH has dropped a bit since then (27 pmol to 19) and FC 25 down to 11

Low AMH and Metformin (insulin resistance)
Hi all I know Metformin is often used in fertility for people who have PCOS, therefore with a high ovarian reserve. I have had an insulin resistance test recently which showed elevated levels, it has been suggested I take Metformin for it. I have low AMH though and am a little worried about whether

Is fibrosis f2 reversible?
I was told it was mild fibrosis but online charts indicate f2 as 'significant fibrosis with evidence of progressive liver disease' I have
AIH
& am taking budesonide 9mg daily. My LFTs have started to normalise so it will be pretty accurate.

CIRRHOSIS & BREAST CANCER?
My husband, now 84 has been on and off here since his cirrhosis diagnosis post
AIH
January 2014. He has gone from compensated to decompensated with a 6 month prognosis back to compensated, problems with a large portal vein thrombosis and varices but otherwise remarkably fit and pretty stable.

Daily Updates post egg collection: warning - good result which might not be what you want to read right now
I just wanted to share my story and updates incase anyone is travelling the same. I just know that when I went through my first round of ICSI in 2020, I was always desperately searching for daily updates post egg collection. I know you can’t really compare stories given there are so many variables at

egg collection
** only 1 fertilised 🥺 Had our egg collection this morning - wasn’t as scary as I thought! We managed 6 eggs - seems a bit low considering my age (I’m 35), AMH and the fact I had 14 follicles. Really hoping they’re mature and fertilise…we were also booked for ICSI but they said only IVF is needed 🤷

Extra tests advice
Hi everyone, I’m starting to think about going for my 3rd IVF cycle and considering doing some extra testing first. However, my clinic (who I really like) are not recommending it. So just wondering if anyone has had a similar experience and done something that’s gone on to make a difference? Bit of

Sometimes I find myself staying up almost 24 hours. Some days I have to force myself to go too sleep or I have to take a sleep aid: melatonin or a muscle relaxer for my back or a gabapentin. What next? Advice on going abroad and different treatment plans after BFNs and poor egg quality.
A bit of a run down first… 5 years of fertility treatment for unexplained infertility. NHS Put on clomid - didn’t work and never should have been put on it because of thin lining issues. Covid stopped my treatment IUI - highest meriofert didn’t work as my lining wasn’t thick enough Ivf round

Hi everyone! I was due to start another cycle before Xmas but I was sick , and then my husband was sick over Xmas so we had to push it to this month. Because of my husbands illness at Xmas, his most recent semen sample came back diagnosed with Oligoteratozoospermia. Never had a problem before , however

Excellent sleep aid
Hi gang. You all know the trouble I’ve had sleeping recently. Well last night I added two new elements to my routine: CBD oil and this product from a Canadian? firm called Comfort Linen . The sheets etc are designed to work together and I must say I was very impressed with the freeing up of my movements
