Still no treatment
I am very aware that there is a direct link between hashimotos and Autoimmune Hepatitis (
AIH
). I have suffered with thyroid nodules since age 21. My mum and my gran had hashimoto's. Both had thyroid removed. So for 36 years, no Treatment for my hashimoto's.

Covid antibodies
Hi, I am 66 and have had PCB and
AIH
for 20 years. I am very lucky and have been relatively symptom free. I have been a member of the Biobank for most of this time and they asked if l would do a survey on covid antibodies . I thought nothing of it and completed the blood test as directed.

3 failed attempts, feeling despondent.
Hey, it’s strange putting a post out into the ether hoping for a response, but being someone who is private about their infertility journey, and not having a great support network, I’m just desperate for some hope. I’m 37 (husband 33) and we’ve been TTC 2.5 years. I have low AMH and we have unexplained

Making sense of IVF in your 40s…
Hi, first time on here and hoping to connect with some of you and your stories. I’m 41, just completed a second round of ICSI which has failed. OTD tomorrow morning but BFNs up until this point. Should say I’ve had a left blocked tube and hydrosalpinx, as well as a polyp removal. My AMH is 6.19 1st

TSH result six days before transfer
Hi all. I am currently in the middle of a frozen cycle which I was eventually able to start in August after 4 months of delays for various reasons. I have had several TSH tests over the past few months to ensure my levels were acceptable prior to starting treatment. However recent results have got

OHSS query
Hi all, I am about to start Menopur injections tomorrow after my bleed kicked in finishing norethisterone which made me bloat a lot! I have been reading about OHSS and getting myself worked up about it all and I wondered if anyone could help settle my mind. I’ve been told I’m on a stronger drug regime

1st follicle scan tomorrow - anxious after abandoned cycle in April.
Hi everyone, I’m back .. took a break from everything IVF after our 1st cycle was abandoned back in April due to under responding to medication. Felt like it just really knocked me for six, not even managing to reach EC stage 😞. Anyway … since then. Had my AMH levels checked and all was good. So started

Ashermans, thin lining, low ovarian reserve, poor responder.. trying ivf one last time with donor sperm for possible surrogacy if lucky
After many years of having a Mirena coil for heavy periods, my then partner and I decided to start to try for a baby. I thought it was strange that when I had the coil out my periods remained just as light as when I had it in. I decided to do some hormone tests, and discovered I had a high prolactin

4 follicles at first stimulation scan (day 5 short protocol), anyone been in a similar position?
I’ve been told I’ll have a scan again Monday, holding off the suppression until then. It’s such a blow. The one thing that had improved after my miscarriage was the follicles and now they’re worse than when I started a year ago. I had 8 last ivf cycle at my first stimulation scan and that was with a

Right ovary not responding to meds
Hi ladies, This morning I had my day 8 scan to find my right ovary hasn’t responded at all and left ovary has 2 beautiful follicles. I could tell the dr was taken back. She gave me 2 options, cancel this cycle end induce ovulation m, or go in for egg collection but expect that a transfer may not happen

Ashermans syndrome, endometrium 2.5mm, poor responder, trying ICSI one last time for surrogacy
Hi everyone, I’ve started a short protocol this week 450 Ovaleap to combine with Menopur from day 8 to try and get a blastocyst to freeze for potential surrogacy After many years of having a Mirena coil for heavy periods, my then partner and I decided to start to try for a baby. I thought it was strange

Should I ask for more?
My fresh transfer wasn’t able to go ahead and my first frozen transfer ended in miscarriage. I’m on Progynova now in prep for second FET. Should I ask to take more progesterone this time round? They mentioned everything will be the same this time (we are unexplained infertility and nothing flagged up

Little bit of good news in amongst the bad
Just posting for my own sanity (and to stop me boring friends and family to death with every little detail) I've had a little win, just had a telephone consultation for NHS funded IVF. I had thought I had no chance of NHS funding as my AMH is so low (1.46 on most recent test) but apparently in my area

Laparoscopy / Hysteroscopy- did you find anything with no prior symptoms?
My FS has recommended a laparoscopy and Hysteroscopy together after 4 failed ivf stims and two miscarriages (one with ivf and one natural) I don’t have any symptoms of endometriosis etc. so curious to know if anyone did these tests and found something they didn’t know about? Went on to have success
