Advise on agoraphobia and anxiety
Hi everyone, a few years back I was diagnosed with an anxiety disorder, a few months back I was told I had developed a phobia called
Agoraphobia
. Which is a fear of going outside (leaving your safe space etc) due to many different reasons, fear of having a panic attack, fear of crows etc.

I don't know what to do. It's a chaos. I can't think. I should move out but i'm afraid to
By sympthoms i mean dizziness and disregulated nervious system from the new city,
agoraphobia
, sometimes i'm too agoraphobic to even buy myself food and i starved there hiding in my room, they make parties that drive me crazy. I tried to socialize but nobody seems to like me, nor i like anyone.

I'm new here, here's my story in a nutshell
Here's what I've got: panic disorder,
agoraphobia
, some OCD and the aftermath of some kind of trauma though that hasn't been formally diagnosed. Friends say all these symptoms (anxiety, hyperalertness, fluctuating self esteem, etc.) and the other stuff might be related to my childhood.

Hey guys just a positive update
I was convinced I had so many health problems all while dealing with
agoraphobia
. Anyway it reached the point that people were so concerned.

I believe my brother is dying from PA
PA came to mind because of the same weightloss, neuro symptoms, dizziness upon standing, premature white hair, his
agoraphobia
, searching for words ect... I've tried everything to get to see him, but he won't budge on visitors or going to the doctor.

The symptoms of your anxiety disorder are perfectly normal.
At this point your nervous system begins to play up and you can experience panic attacks,
agoraphobia
, depersonalisation, the feeling that death is imminent, something terrible is going to happen and all the symptoms of health and social anxiety.

Still struggling after 2 years 10 months PCS
Right now I'm dealing with more constant headaches, dizziness, eye strains, tinnitus, anxiety,
agoraphobia
. I wish I could just not work and just rest and heal, but thats never going to happen because I have to bring in some kind financial support to survive. I can't leave my 2 jobs.

Managing anxiety and "acceptance"
On a petty side note I think Barry McDonough's well-rated approach is trash and not appropriate for someone with PTSD and severe panic disorder w/
agoraphobia
like myself, so I've felt frustrated in the past with these concepts.

Nearly 11 year old can't travel far due to toilet panic
Ed Psych diagnosed several anxieties and 'Panic/
Agoraphobia
based on travel'. Hasn't been in school since May 2021 - school avoidance for years, now added toilet issue. No use plotting where toilet stops can be as now fears public toilets.

Anxiety and panic attacks.. years later
I’ve suffered with anxiety and panic attacks for around 15 years, slowly got worse over the years where the fears were getting worse and worse.. would restrict what I do from stopping going on public transport, then getting in cars, then going shops, etc etc.. to the point where it’s
agoraphobia

Stelazine
I still suffer from anxiety and
agoraphobia
. The GP referred me to AMHT as they said they could prescribe drugs they couldn’t. So I had a telephone assessment with a health visitor and I mentioned my previous experience with Stelazine.

A tip from a fellow panic attacker who thinks can help us ...
The first 3 years, it morphed into me not going anywhere, not even outside to get the mail (
agoraphobia
). My husband worked 2nd shift and I was alone at home, with two babies in diapers (1 year apart). It was a nightmare that I'll never forget.

Depression taking over
I have panic disorder, ocd, depression and
agoraphobia
(that one is new for me). I have always gotten nervous about taking trips, but now I cannot make myself. So, my husband and 2 kids are leaving tomorrow to fly out of state to visit my mother in law.
