Hi Contra21,

I’ve been the same for the past week.

Same exact symptoms as you.

I’m not taking any meds just Magnesium and Ashwaghanda.

Is best to go out and do something to keep your mind off it.

Watch a movie. Go for a walk at the park

Clean the yard.

That will be my plan for tomorrow since I’m sure I’m gonna get panic attack, and I’m ready for it.

Hello, No it does not make me dizzy at all.

Perhaps the dizziness comes from the anxiety itself.

Hi Contract21 research has shown that magnesium does help you sleep better. I think trying it wont harm you. if you buy it over the counter buy Magnesium Glycinate but if prescribed by Dr then take that one. Also research advise to take it at night before going to bed. It also help lower High Blood Pressure.

Mine came back something terrible 2 weeks ago. I know that for me it has to do with unresolved issues (I have bad health anxiety). I have to wait 4 weeks to see a new counselor. You're definitely not alone with this.

Hi Contra21, I have taken magnesium for years and there are many different ways of getting it into your system! There is no harm in taking it as it is an essential mineral that is depleted by stress and anxiety! The best form of pills are Doctors Best Magnesium which is on Amazon £29 or you can get the best version which is called ReMag liquid magnesium which u add to a orange juice etc which goes straight to your cells and not the digestive tract! It’s a natural relaxant but u have to be patient as years of stress cannot be resolved in a couple of weeks but it is a brilliant product!!

I don't know what to say to be helpful, but I am in the same boat you're in. I take meds for depression but the doctors won't prescribe me Klonopin or Ativan anymore for anxiety because of the opiod epidemic where they're worried people overdose on that stuff. I've taken Ativan before and it helped me and I never took more than I was prescribed. I try meditation and listening to calm music but I am really stressed out by a number of things and my life never seems to get better.

Not what you're looking for?
