Nearly 11 year old can't travel far due to toilet panic

Years of anxiety bless him. Christmas Day 2020 had a panic on journey back from grandparents about needing a poo. Ended up in a bush outside locked services (10pm). Since then, massive anxieties about toilets outside of home. Can't go further than local town in car (about 5 miles) - can't go on planned holiday to Wales. Spends ages on toilet if we do go out. About to be privately ASD assessed. Now struggles with visitors in house in case he needs the toilet. EHCP application in for SEMH. Ed Psych diagnosed several anxieties and 'Panic/Agoraphobia based on travel'. Hasn't been in school since May 2021 - school avoidance for years, now added toilet issue. No use plotting where toilet stops can be as now fears public toilets. Won't take 'travel toilet' just in case.....and he is very upset about the impact it is having on us all..... Anyone in same boat??? Or even better, been there & got it sorted??

CBT therapy might help, have you been referred to CAHMS?

Yes but because he is on waiting list for ASD assessment we have been re - referred. Now has been put on list of 1 to 1 talking therapy..... But no one will listen to this bit.... Had to cancel our holiday and now almost won't leave house....
