Lupron or Firmagon after Orgovyx
I have lost some of the fear of
ADT
, since I’ve had an easy time so far. I’d hoped Orgovyx would let my T recover faster. My RO is fine giving me one month shots of Lupron or Firmagon. He thinks they will have minimal effect on recovery.

Next Steps?
His statements were: 1) wait and watch to see if it spreads anywhere else. 2) Start Firmagon
ADT
again. 3) Start Firmagon
ADT
and do 25 radiation treatments of that area of my body. 4) Do focused radiation of the area where the lymph nodes are. He had reasons for all 4.

worsens MetS symptoms. IMO, there is a strong case for Metformin while on
ADT
. New study from Spain [3]. "Men with obesity tend to be insulin resistant and often have low-normal testosterone concentrations."

Basically it said for high risk patients the combo of
ADT
, Radiation and Brachy was the way to go. Brachy Boost is the term I think. I look on the internet for updates but can't find any. Anybody heard about any updates on this info or know anything more?

Pluvicto / Lu-177 - Do it now or later?
I am a metastatic castration resistant prostate cancer patient having undergone most SOC (RP, SR, docetaxel,
ADT
, Xtandi, Zytiga, Oliparib) steps. Now, like others, faced with very limited remaining SOC options: another round of the dreaded chemo like docetaxel or Lu-177 / Pluvicto.

Concerns about treatment
I don’t know what to expect, but think it might be IMRT and
ADT
. I currently have a plan to drive across US in my RV fly to Europe and bike from Zurich to Amsterdam. Don’t know if treatment will prevent me from going out fatigue will squeeze all the jelly out of my jelly donut.

Advice on raising NDT
Following on from my post on 26/02/24, my symptoms got worse (increased number of anxiety attacks and unable to cope with pain in head/neck and upper back) and the GP didn't have any ideas, so I saw a thyroid specialist recommended by thyroid UK in April. The doctor had my blood tests done and these

Trying to interpret my results
Hi I was wondering if I could ask some advice regarding my latest results. I've just had bloods done so anticipating the usual conversation with my GP about my TSH being too low.... I've screen shot my results since 2015 basically as I've been tracking them as my TSH rarely changes, even with a reduction

How quickly does TSH increase when you stop taking NDT?
I buy some of my NDT without a script, I take 120mg per day. My GP prescribes me 90mg a day. So I get the rest elsewhere. My GP doesn’t understand that TSH is suppressed on NDT, and I’m not going to be successful in educating him. My TSH was 0.01 on 150mg, but I reduced to 120mg about 5 or 6 weeks ago

Trial of eConsult service
My GP practice has recently launched the eConsult service where it said I could get the results of tests etc, so I tried it. I asked for the results from a recent blood test, and gave the date and time. The one that was supposed to be just vitamins. I had one email back saying the request would be

Hashimoto's remission
Hello, is it possible to put your antibodies (TgAb and TPOAb) into remission (i.e zero) on Levothyroxine only, following a root cause approach to lifestyle? Has anyone achieved this, or is NDT required? TIA

Chewing Thyroid-S before swallowing?
Is it really necessary to chew NDT? I've done it most of my life but recently started swallowing it whole because of my teeth. I take my thyroid medicine at around 4 am and go back to sleep sometimes for several hours. I've had a lot of cavities and dry mouth for the last year and a half. I don't know

help with blood test results
Hi, I have just had the results of my blood test and they are all within the normal range which is obviously great news but not so great as to knowing why I’m feeling so tired, aching, gut issues and cramping, brain fog. Could any of you lovely people just take a look and see why I maybe feeling like

What is the recommended medication to start on please?
I'm having a telephone consultation with my endocrinologist tonight & after a lot of reading (on this site as well) I'm considering asking for NDT? This will be my first time being medicated so would really appreciate any advice from you? You all have far more experience than I & have been invaluable
