Thoughts on using AI for ADT decisions
I found the following article in the NEJM to be interesting. You may want to review it for future reference to help someone in the future making decisions about their cancer treatment or incorporating AI in your research. Just a side note my grandkids are being exposed to this type of research methodically

Names of ADT and antiADT Drugs
I would like a simple list of the medical names and brand names of the various prostate hormone treatment drugs to keep them straight.

PSA slightly rose after 8 months undetectable
I am 57 and on
ADT
(Firmagon+Zytiga+Prednisone) after surgery in 2022 and 39 sessions of RT in 2023 (Jan Feb). Till now I has been undetectable but at November my bloodwork showed PSA risen to 0.04. Should I be concerned or could it be just random fluctuation? Thanks for your reactions.

Am considering it because two years after
ADT
. (18 months Lupron and Bicalutamide) my T level is 66, PSA .28.

I got some doubts about the know-how of my oncologist
Yet, my oncologist is very insistent that I go back on
ADT
. She wanted me back on
ADT
even when my PSA was of 0.09. The problem is that I don't want to go on
ADT
unless I really need it as it is quite debilitating for me.

Length of Treatment for Orgovyx (Relugolix) versus Lupron and other Longer Acting ADT drugs as Adjuvant to RT or Used for IADT?
I'm curious if anyone has had any discussion with their MO or Radiation Oncologist about having to take a longer course of Orgovyx compared to Lupron or other longer acting
ADT
drugs because Testosterone comes back so much quicker on Orgovyx?

Yes, I find usPSA useful post RP and when not on
ADT
(I was on bicalutamide one year only ending five years ago). As I frequently share, six years ago, March 2018, I had salvage extended pelvic lymph node surgery following amazing imaging in Europe, at usPSA 0.11.

Has anyone heard of trial DB-1311-O-1001?
We have tried pretty much everything over the last 6 years,
ADT
, docetaxel, Zytiga, radiation, keytruda (ended badly with severe pneumonitis), Xtandi and recently just timed out on Cabazitaxel. We through whatever “herbs and spices” we can at it too when there are no contraindications.

Managing OAB after proton RT
The side effects of the
ADT
were hot flashes (tolerable) and loss of libido. The side effects of the radiation has been increased urinary urgency and frequency, especially at night. Does anyone have a strategy on how I might reduce my 4 to 7 incidences per night of toilet runs?

Quite happy with ADT
Almost 83 years old, living presently in Germany, RT and PT not possible,
ADT
during the last 9 months (Lupron quarterly), PSA down to undetectable, quite happy with that.

Chemo or no/not yet?
Will see what PSA looks like next week after a month of
ADT
. My question chemo, no chemo or wait on chemo? Onco and Rad Onco both seemed to have a very soft attitude towards it. "you can do it if you want", "you're busy and it may be inconvenient right now"... To this i say BS!

PSA suppression
For whatever reason, 3 months of
ADT
worked for me. Enough cells able to return to their "normal" pre-
ADT
state to crowd out the advanced cells that are suddenly at a disadvatage with restored testosterone levels. Of note: I began
ADT
& the testosterone reset at the same time.

Testosterone was nearly back to normal, then dropped
I had 6 months of
ADT
in connection with radiation for recurrent PCa in 2016 and my T returned to normal . By the way, PSA is still barely detectable for the past 6 months (less than 0.1) Any thoughts?

How to monitor PCa after you stop ADT?
I plan to stop
ADT
next time when it's due, as my PSA is always "undetectable" and it's been 4 years of physical and mental torment for me (the side effects). I think that enough is enough now. Does anyone have advice on the best ways to keep an eye on any re-occurence? Is PSA enough?

New possible treatment being researched
As I've written before, I think
ADT
is too harsh and takes away too much, so I hope something like this proves very effective in treatment. It'll be too late for my husband but I sincerely hope and pray it works out as an effective treatment!

ADT + Zytiga holiday???
The nerve pain has gotten worse and my oncologist and neurologist are wondering if
ADT
or Zytiga are too blame. Anyone have experience with these drugs and nerve interaction?
