ADT for how long..
My doctor had said I would be given 6 months of
ADT
back then, but now he just tripled the journey to long 18 months. Does that sound like average for cases like this??

Treatment going forward
Is avoiding
ADT
a possibility in light of the encouraging PSMA PET? Any treatment suggestions? Any MD recommendations in the Seattle area. Thanks

1, 3 or 6 month ADT?
Originally, after a prostatectomy and 40 radiation treatments, I had a one month shot of Lupron followed by a six month shot of Lupron. My PSA went to undetectable. Seven years later my PSA crept up to seven and I was put on a monthly shot of Firmagon for life. My PSA is again undetectable and all scans

Locally Advanced PC - should I accept offer of docetaxel?
Radical
ADT
and RT is still seen as gold standard treatment and I really don't want to put my body through the impact of a course of docetaxel.

PSA of <0.1 undetectable?
I am on
ADT
, lupron and Zytiga, at Kaiser Oakland. My latest PSA came back as <0.1. My MO sent me a message with the results: "congratulations, great news, your PSA is undetectable!"

Opinion sought for ADT treatment duration
I was never this bad before
ADT
treatment. So I'm thinking of stopping in 9 months and seeing if I can return to some normalcy.

Still confused about PSA and Testosterone testing
I am now doing my 6 month follow up and my annual physical and no longer on
ADT
post radiation. However I noticed all four of my doctors - GP, RO, MO and urologist are not concerned about my testosterone level and seemed focused on PSA only.

Internet Myths about Red Meat
• If you are on
ADT
, your metabolism is slower, so consume fewer calories and exercise more. • Eat plenty of vegetables, especially cruciferous and highly-colored vegetables. • Avoid vitamins, minerals and supplements unless you are deficient. Get your micronutrients from food.

Is nmCRPC potentially curable?
I am receiving
ADT
with early chemotherapy. I was diagnosed polymetastic but now after 5.5 years I am still on Firmagon injections only and my prostate developed a CRPC.

Pulmonary Node revealed with PET scan not growing
My main question is, since I have been on Eligard for 6 months - and finished that
ADT
last month - could that have interfered with the growth of the node if it is a carcinoma not related to the prostate ? Or could the lack of growth indicate it is a benign node.

Question in Preparation for pBAT
With Eligard
ADT
in the background, my pBAT program calls for 8 injections of T propionate eod at a dosage of 50 mg. That dosage is expected to yield peak total T of about 2,000 ng/dL.

Anyone tried cabazitaxel (Jevtana) monotherapy?
If you've tried cabazitaxel
without

ADT
, I would appreciate hearing about your side effects and effectiveness. I'm currently in excellent shape at age 72.

Leg Pain - 4th Week on Lupron
Hi Friends, I'm on 4th week of
ADT
(Lupron+Abiraterone). Yesterday I started feeling right upper leg pain in the quads area. I'm not sure whether it's bone or muscle pain. But it's getting worse. I can barely walk. At first I was thinking may be I strained it.
