Private endo who actually tests correctly and prescribes either t4 and t3 or NDT and is not bonkers!
Hi I would love recommendations for sane and sensible endocrinologists in the UK who do correct and fully thyroid testing and prescribe either t4 and t3 or NDT. Thank you!

Hi all, So I had my first gynecologist appointment last week, and it wasn't what I was expecting. I've read so many accounts of people appointments, where they had plenty of time to discuss history, the horrendous pain, as well as a detailed treatment plan. However, my visit consisted of walking into

Cabazitaxel Versus Docetaxel
He is 5 years post diagnosis and his PSA has started to rise after 2.5 years of stability on enzalutamide and before that 6 rounds of doxetaxel +
ADT
. His recent scans have showed some enlargement of pelvic lymph nodes which is most likely the reason PSA has been rising since Jan 2022.

Hi all, I'm back with another request for your valuable input. I started levothyroxine treatment for Hashimoto's in February, and at my last review my GP agreed an increase to 62.5mcg (50/75 on alternating days). Things have improved in many areas - I seem to be back to a manageable level of energy in

Thyroid S
Hi fellow thyroid sufferers I’ve recently started on Thyroid S purchased from Thailand and am taking 2.5 grains like I did with my Thyroid T Man, I think it was called (pink tablets) and I don’t know whether it’s because I’ve not had great sleep lately or due to changing to this new NDT, but I’ve noticed

My Onco says he only looks at the PCa, bone health is not his department, I say he couldn't be more wrong.
Started
ADT
with Zytiga and Prednisone, marvelous results. PSA down to 0.03 in 8 months, and has stayed very low since . Onco recons everything is going great, disease under control, no further action is needed, just keep doing the current treatment.

Triplet Therapy Failed. Now what?
I've posted about my father here before - you can check my post history for my older posts. To keep it brief: 60 years old, diagnosed with metastatic prostate cancer in June of last year (at 59). Doctor started with hormonal treatment while waiting for him to regain some strength, added Abiraterone (

Would like help in treatment options.
In the course of reading these forums it seems as though an anti androgen (Enzalutimide, apalutimide, etc) added to
ADT
is beneficial in a castrate sensitive metastatic patient.
