Adrenaline

I'm averaging 3 to 4 hrs of sleep every night due to horrendous adrenaline surges. Blood pressure shoots up. Headache. Racing heart. Sweats. I've Googled and found my experience fits the symptoms of a pheochromacytoma. I thought the surges were due to sertraline.

I have had to retire my second pair of Brooks Adrenaline GTS 23 running shoes after 830 kilometres. They shall now be my walking shoes. So today I went into a local specialist running shop and purchased a new pair of Brooks Adrenaline GTS 24 running shoes after. All black, no colour.

high adrenaline from footsteps at night, you either hallucinate what it is or write it off and fall asleep. The same thing happens with high adrenaline but the fight response when you are awake with the fan on and its screaming high adrenaline.

When I went to the dentist 1 year ago the local anaesthetic gave me a racing heart and if it was not for a post the week after on this wonderful site I would never have known that most anaesthetics contain adrenaline, sorry a bit naive-so this time I asked my dentist for a non adrenaline anaesthetic

I have suffered from PMR for the last 3 years 10 months. I am now down to 2 mg of Pred, 1 at 3am ish and 1after breakfast. I recently asked my GP for a blood test for my Adrenalin levels as I didn’t feel a return of Adrenalin even though I am on a very low dose of steroids. It took 3 months to get the

sadly did not according to plan and hope, 2 hours in suddenly freezing cold, dizzy, ended it for day, had an adrenaline shot to help, back tomorrow for another go, anybody else had similar experience, how was day 2 for you

So I am just wondering what anyone elses experience is with their symptoms of adrenaline vs. too much thyroid hormone symptoms, and how you tell them apart?

It could be that what I saw as emotional pathways opening was in fact my body producing adrenaline etc. as part of my healing and that the reason I processed trauma was that the adrenaline increase was associated with trauma.

I feel like I’m full of adrenaline and need calming down. Is it worth continuing with this medication. I feel worse. I never have any luck with anti depressants. Just want to feel normal and get on with life.

I'm now getting panic and adrenaline surges throughout the day and night. High BP then gradually reduces. I'm also getting some left sided flank pain and am wondering if what I am experiencing is because of the sertraline or have I got some adrenal gland disease. I'm now in turmoil.

I know adrenaline anaesthetic was used in first one & I was very unwell & after discussion with the dentist he used a different anaesthetic for the permanent crown but I’m wiped out with tiredness, flu symptoms & malaise.

in the am and pm (I had coffee in the day before the other two timings cos no one told me how to take it🫠) The second test I took it was sky high but I was taking too much t3 thyroid medication and had a bad flare up of symptoms on that day (apparently cortisol saliva testing can be inaccurate if adrenaline

It's like someone gave me a shot of adrenaline on top of already dealing with the extra adrenaline our bodies are trying to deal with that was suppressed for months and years while on bisoprolol. I'm trying to deal with it more naturally by taking supplements.

Im a 60 yr old adrenaline junkie into mountain biking, kitesurfing and skiing . Have anyone got advice as to how I should approach my recovery return to the sports I love . Thanks

Woke this morning burning skin , adrenaline rushes , tachycardia and a funny head . I know what this is because this is now what happens if something is changed that my body is used to .

Is it because adrenaline/cortisol are trying to compensate for the lack of T3 (it seems my T3 needs to be in the upper half of the so called "normal" range to sleep through the night), or is it something in NDT, or something in synthetic T4/T3 that actually causes this counterintuitive difference?

I wake up early every morning with a rush of adrenaline..which feels very uncomfortable, it completely prevents me from going back to sleep, and my legs and feet ache and burn, so I end up just getting up early to make it all stop.
