Hashimotos for Sixteen Years, Realizing I Know Next to Nothing
significantly overweight and I'd continued to walk daily no matter how much pain I was in; have never smoked, drink very little alcohol, rarely ate fast food (but I did eat some processed/junk food,) and basically thought I was doing as hood a job as could be expected for someone with a lifelong food

Thank you
It was heartening to see that I'm not the only one, and to read all about your various suggestions for ignoring my non
addiction
. I really valued everyone's comments, and will continue to go back to them and keep reading them. Thank you, one and all.

What Did You Think Your ADHD Was Before You Found Out You Had ADHD?
I saw my constant need to surf the web and watch three youtube videos and two Netflix shows while talking to people on three social media sites as "Screen

." because I've struggled with drug and alcohol
addiction
in the past, and because I get so hyper focused on things I love.

Looking for Advice on Mother/Daughter Relationship
I didn't know my bio-dad, the man I called dad was in and out of my life up until 16 due to
addiction
issues with no contact since. My mom was a single mom, doing her best, or I try to think of it as doing her best. She was in and out of some extremely unhealthy relationships.

I finally got into
addiction
recovery and the hypomania episodes subsided for a number of years though I had some brief breakthrough mania at times and periods of depression again.

just a suggestion in understanding your health
Are you worried about
addiction
, is the
addiction
of people on the streets, in your town, in your home, in yourself something you are finding it hard to understand. Start with a. podcast with Gabor Mate. My suggestion would be this weeks podcast with Josh Rogan.

Advice on how to help 14 year old wrecking his life
Fast forward to counseling for a year on video game
addiction
, and here we are finding out my 14 year old is addicted to drugs to self medicate. Started with marijuana, moved to shrooms, nicotine and cocaine (he has no money, so even more concerning on that front).

Thank you for any advise, friends and family know about the
addiction
now and have been supportive, but I know they don’t have the same understanding as people who have been through it.

And they will continue to think that everyone injecting B12 has some '
addiction
' issue because if the numbers are in range there is no deficiency and no illness. And we will continue to be treated like crazy, anxious, hypochondriacs.

Heart palpitations with no diagnosis since November
I was only using it as an escape, it wasn't an
addiction
and since I've had no option but to process my demons so to speak completely sober, I can't even say I miss it. This is the most at peace I've been in the past two years. Things have massively improved with the partner too.

All regular use sublingual opioid medications etc how to protect your teeth.
People who suffer
addiction
no they do and avoid opioids. Buprenorphine is good for those who suffer
addiction
affliction as it does not give a high and has a ceiling effect so it cuts out at a certain level and blocks other opioids.
