Waking up at 4am after 2 hours of sleep, feeling like im gonna throw up, crying, regretting how i treated mom, needing someone
I hope this is just a panic attack and
acid
reflux
from starving myself. Mom said maybe i should be hospitalised but if i don't finish this exam, the exam will finish me. Also Bulgarian hospitals are worse than an average european jail.

Can of worms
I have always been grateful for all the help I have received from HealthUnlocked since I was diagnosed with Hashimoto's some eight years ago. For the last few years, I have done very well on 100 mcgs of Levothyroxine and 8 mcgs T3 per day. I find a Keto, completely gluten free and almost entirely organic

Severe Symptoms - has anyone else had this
I have had
acid
reflux
for years, and it's always been come and go. I took over the counter meds, then went to prescription meds Nexium, but then this past few months it got worse so was prescribed Rabeprozole.

Insights for Pain on right side and back ribs - GERD and non-alcoholic fatty liver (possible bile ducts issues post-gallbladder removal)
I’ve been sorting a problem with GERD (
acid
reflux
) leading to oesophagitis. Also had an ultrasound to check bile ducts as I’ve had my gallbladder removed after disease in 2013. Was told I have mild non-alcoholic fatty liver disease, apparently not unusual in middle age.

Told that I can’t have Zoledronic Acid.
Dear friends, I am finishing 2 years of Forsteo at the end of July. In preparation for the possibility of having ZA Infusion as follow on treatment, I have been attending dental appointments . Having been passed to the practise surgeon to have an extraction, we were both shocked to discover I may

Itchy skin with no rash
Still no
acid
reflux
symptoms at all, which is worrying, as I don't know if I'm improving. I'm beginning to wonder if the problem has been no or low acid, rather than high but my gp and consultant all insist it's
acid
reflux
causing the problems. Sorry for the long post.

Hi everyone, I haven't been on here for quite a while. I have at last got down to 1mg of pred which 6 months ago I thought it would never happen. Confused about BCAAs
I don’t understand the results of studies on branched chain amino acids and cirrhosis. There seems to be conflicting data. Has anyone tried taking BCAAs to build muscle and can you shed some light on the subject?

Live shingles vaccine or not?
I would appreciate your guidance on the importance of which kind of shingles vaccine to have, i.e. live or not? I am on medication for GCA, 5.5mg Prednisolone, plus Levothyroxine, Bisoprolol, Amlodipine, Rosuvastatin, Ursodeoxycholic Acid, Famotidine, Losartan. With many thanks.

Cabazitaxel and estrogen patch
My brother has CRPC and is receiving Cabazitaxel+Relugolix. Denosumab and Zoledronic acid don't work for him. I suggested an Estrogen patch to both maintain bone density and ameliorate hot flashes. His oncologist said that an Estrogen patch would interfere with the Cabazitaxel. I can't find any literature
