Omnivore vs vegetarian vs vegan diet
Hi everyone, I just wanted to ask what your thoughts are with regards to which diet is better for PWP. My mum is a PWP and my dad has noticed her symptoms are aggravated if she eats meats and improves if she doesn’t. He is a vegan so I’m not sure if there is a little bit of bias there. I myself am

zoledronic acid infusion
hi everyone. I’ve been on here before but now I am really stressing out. Just over a year ago I incurred 4 vertebrae fractures, incredibly painful, but I gradually recovered. Sadly I lost 2” in height. Subsequently I was sent for an MRI and, after, I received a letter from the hospital strongly

Does Lansaprazole irritate the stomach
I am trying to work out whether or not Lansaprazole is upsetting my tummy/digestive system. I have been taking Pred fro three years now, getting down from 15mg to 4mg last year, falring and returning to 10mg now back to 4mg a year later. I started on the standard precautionary Alendronic Acid, Ad-Cal

GABA noerotransmiters and OCD
Hi! I'm spreading the word about my benefits with GABA and noerotransmiters supplements. Recent studies are incredibly grand!! It works in similar ways to benzodiazepines with fewer side effects!! Also works better then all SSRIs I've tried. And side effects were intolerable any more. Only takes an hour

Alendronic Acid taken with bottled mineral water by mistake. Should I be worried? Should I take it again tomorrow with tap water? Any advice
I realised too late and am now concerned about it. I’m currently on holiday and always drink bottled water while away but I remembered that the instructions say it must be tap water. Any advice would be helpful. Thanks

How can I stop digging?
I tend to produce more stomach acid when my anxiety gets bad to the point I have developed
acid
reflux
and some peptic ulcers back in 2021. I tend to latch on to an unresolved issue and catastrophize the situation.

Catabolic Wasting, Cachexia and Sarcopenia - Life Extension Foundation, Section Update: 03/2021
As most men with PCa are oldER and may be on some form of testosterone-blocking treatment, like ADT, odds are they are also struggling with the muscle-wasting and weight issues that comes with both oldER age and loss of T. This article from LEF is a very comprehensive overview of both Cachexia and Sarcopenia

Exhausted.
I am 30 years old. I started menstruating at the age of 10. When I was around 14, I would have these random "attacks" of abdominal pain that left me crippled. There have been occasions my mum had to lift me out of the bath, because I felt like my insides had totally twisted. Now, I shower. But there

I WANT TO PUT SOMEONE'S MIND AT EASE AFTER MY FIRST COLONOSCOPY
Acid
reflux
and also, little gurgling noises in my chest, neck area. Metallic taste in my mouth. I've also started having nightsweats. I have my Gastroscopy booked this coming Saturday morning but I'm hopeful that nothing will come of that either.

Do people feel their doctors told them what they need to know?
I was diagnosed just after the start of the pandemic. It was lockdown = pandemonium. All the same it sticks in my mind that all I was told about Pred was when to take it and to reduce.. Really, they seemed most concerned about alendronic acid and how I must sit upright. Do people risk death if they

Caprylic Acid promotes the progression of prostate cancer.
New study below [1]. Long-term vilification of saturated fats have led us to be afraid of longer-chain fats, such as (the innocent) stearic acid (C16:0). The short & medium chain fats don't get much press. "Caprylic acid {C8:0} (from Latin capra 'goat') ... is a saturated, medium-chain fatty acid"

I don't have any other symptoms of pancreatitis except for slightly raised amylase however I do also have
acid
