Dental work
I have recently had my 2nd alendronic acid infusion and so far so good! However I am due to have some dental work in November, which could involve extraction. When I went for my last infusion I was told not to have any work done for a while after this. I have spoken to the dentist who still wants me

Short pulse like pain in chest
I am well used to
acid
reflux
especially in nights but this feels different. If totally behind sternum and classic heartburn I wouldn’t be asking. But it radiates sometimes up the chest and sometimes across but stays in same place for the 10 mins. It’s not accompanied by any other symptoms.

Guys I’m really hoping you can help or offer insight. I started experiencing irregular bleeding after taking progesterone only birth control pills. I continued onto the next pack and I didn’t stop bleeding. Dr gave me Tranexamic Acid and it stopped it for a while and continued taking pill every day

Very confused and don't know what to do to help my body heal
The hernia hasn't given me any bother up to this point except for the occasional bout of
acid
reflux
every couple of months (which may not even be related). These were easily managed with gaviscon when required. Around 6 weeks ago I started to get really bad indigestion attacks.

GP disagrees with diagnosis of osteoporosis
I had a Dexa scan 2 weeks ago and the lady who did the scan told me I had osteoporosis and gave me a leaflet about it and an information sheet about Alendronic acid. She said GP would contact me when he got the results to start me on AA. Last week I got a text from GP saying “your bone thickness is

Management of Carbimazole/hyperthyroidism and other symptoms
Is
acid
reflux
a common symptom of Carbimazole? I’ve been struggling with this in the last couple of weeks. One night I woke up with pain in my chest that hurt more when I inhaled, but I’ve also had a feeling of tightness/lump in my throat, acid coming up into my throat etc.

Hi Until December last I was taking 40 mg iron bisglycinate with orange juice every two days. Since this had little impact on my RLS I increased the iron dose to 40mg every day from December until now. As yet I have noticed little change to my RLS symptoms. A blood test this month showed my ferritin

Zolendronic Acid Infusions
I know this treatment is for osteoporosis and not PMR but I’ve been offered this treatment as I’m over 65 and I’m on the cusp of being osteopenic and my bone fracture score is now just above 10.. Recently my rheumy said that the results of my dexascan were some of the best he had seen for someone on

Food testing/acid reflux
I have a hiatus hernia but didn't get many problems with food/drink until I got covid. It must have really inflamed my gut for over a year now....giving me gastritis, oesophagitis and candida in oesophagus and probably whole body. This is turn has made the acid problems awful 24/7. I have had to eliminate
