Questioning my diagnosis today at hospital?

I was at the hospital today with a bad cough and lower back pain, I was told I had acid reflux but I had surgery 11 yrs ago to fix my problems I had a stomach rap , I need to talk to my own GP as my symptoms are nothing like acid reflux.

I’ve been coughing since June had various antibiotics- still coughing - chest X-ray showed lung infection- more antibiotics! Still coughing - given PPIs for reflux LPR - still coughing and now breathless - I’m going back to GP to insist on an MRI and endoscope to find out what’s going on. It would help if I saw the same GP each time !!!

Hi , yes I agree about the doctors but it's difficult to see a doctor its normally weeks down the line ,I'm waiting for my two yearly endoscope end of this year to check on my cancer ,so fingers crossed will see if any change that is coursing acid reflux. Good luck .
