Acid reflux

I have severe endo,adeo,cysts and fibroids.Im 7 months into zoledex and medical menopause. Ive got a 12-18 month wait for hysterectomy.

Last 2 days ive got really bad acid reflux, burning tummy and occasionaly bringing up sick. Im on omeprazole daily and ive now started gaviscon aswell. Ive read this is another problem with endo.

Wondered if anyone else gets this and how to deal with it

Hi i occasionally get acid reflux on prostrap, but i just have a small glass of milk to settle it. X

Thankyou this is the 1st bad time in 7 injections. Hopefully will settle in couple days x

I get reflux a lot too. I take the Gaviscon dual action chewable tablets as its convenient and works well most of the time but if you need something stronger you could try gaviscon advance, be sure to take it after meals and before going to bed. Also trying to change your diet/ knowing what triggers it can help so for me I find dairy and spicy foods make it worse. And sleeping with your head/ upper body slightly elevated can help.

It's horrid isn't it when you feel it coming up and burning. Sends my voice strained too.
