Post pneumothorax ptsd and ongoing discomfort
Furthermore have had a number of pretty bad injuries before through sport and
accidents
. However this one from the very start has hit me for six. From the outset was terrified about making a full recovery and was convinced I’d end up with permanent damage or pain. Which probably didn’t help.

hello
Accidents
are now contained, however I am increasingly and sadly inclined to stay home a lot. I rely on suppositories at times, and I have Loperamide to take before I go out of my home. I do feel very isolated with my IBS d, and I wonder if that is a shared experience.

Letting people down because of IBS
I'd made arrangements to go on a 250 mile train ride to help family members with a really difficult family problem. I knew it was a risk booking tickets and making commitments, but I gambled on it. The stress has been awful the past 3 weeks to a month now. I kept "positive-talking" myself and saying

Pulsed Field Ablation underwhelming in trial
PFA has been the big hope in AF ablations. The results of a trial have however been underwhelming according to John Mandrola: https://www.medscape.com/viewarticle/995898 In the trial of 600 patients with AF who were split evenly between PFA and conventional RF, PFA was non-inferior but not superior

Grief over what should have been
Hi all I hope you're all as well as you can be. I've been hit by a tidal wave of grief today over what should have been my due date on 6 Sept if my 2nd pregnancy had gone to plan. I already went though this in June with what should have been my first due date. Feels like these milestones never end -

Do I need an emergency cortisol injection kit?
Hi everyone, I've been on pred now for six months (currently taking 20 mg per day). I have a friend with primary adrenal insufficiency and he keeps telling me I need a rescue pen in case I get injured or suffer physical trauma. He says I could die quickly without it. This link he sent me says death

NovoThor
Has anyone tried or have any knowledge of NovoThor PBM Therapy light beds? A friend saw a leaflet in a waiting room recently, so I’ve done a bit of research and it looks very interesting and if the stats are true good be very helpful for fibromyalgia sufferers, no mention of cost though! Calprotectin at 146 and panicking
Hey everybody. I’ve been experiencing constant abdominal discomfort for 10 weeks now. I wouldn’t say it’s pain but it’s definitely annoying, like my intestines are sore. It’s mostly lower abdomen but can be upper too. Sometimes food makes it better, sometimes worse. It happened to me 3 years ago

pmg, tapering and feeling low
hi there, I have had pmg since last September, I think bright on by the death of my partner of over 30 years, and I have been slowly tapering down to now on 2mg from 15mg, with a slight hiccup of chest infection six weeks ago when I was on 30mg for just a week. I have been ok mentally since then,

Week 9 run 3 and thank you
So decided that today was the day for the final run . Did the run with Laura who has been with me throughout (thank you) and then kept running until I completed the 5K ( very slowly) in 51 mins. Reflecting on how far I have come with C25K , you have been with me through the first year of retirement

Disabled rail card application
Hi there. Among other things I’ve had to accept that my driving days are now severely impacted by fibro etc and am looking at getting a disabled rail card. The website says I need to provide a PIP award letter dated the last 12 months. My original letter is over two years old. I’m in the process

Cerelle desogestrel
I've been taking 2x desogestrl tablets daily since January and have noticed the past few months cramping but no period, I've had to go to hospital for morphine to calm this, could this mean my endo has grown back even thought i only had a lap in March 22?
