9 year old is so fed up

Hi. My 9 year old is so fed up. He has been diagnosed with CC and has had problems with soiling for years. Gp has been involved and i managed to get him to poop twice a day and no soiling for 6 weeks. Doing very gentle clean out with senna and docusate fir 3 days. Nothing watery. He was great fir 6 weeks.Then it all went wrong. And he got terrible stools and accidents. He then got lymphatic adonitis the day i upped movicol so now we are all scared of movicol. He was on sodium docusate for about 6 weeks during his adonitis all in all. He passed lots but i saw no improvement. Just more accidents. Dr eventually said just aim for 1 soft poo pr day and eventually it will resolve. Well he is now on barely anything. 1/2 kids senna tablet once a week ( but they make him feel dreadful) . He soils between 1 and 4 times pr day with one or 2 days pr week with no soiling at all. He passes a good size soft stool once a day. His tummy isn't distended. My feeling is he isnt managing to empty properly but isnt impacted. Its guesswork. We have a gastro app in october and we are just trying to survive until then. After adonitis and several hospital dashes he is now severely scared of gp and intervention. So im trying to wait for consulatant app as i feel i have exhausted gp help. I am not keen on doing complete clean out without being sure its needed. He is already severely traumatised by the soiling. Through all our gp visits none of them felt he needed a full clean out . Just laxatives to get regular bowel movements.

He hates movicol . Weve exhausted docusate ( it stopped working well) . Senna helps but causes pain and sickness. Im thinking if it would be wise trying glyceryl suppositries? Or lactulose. I want to stick to gentle stuff as he goes well every day. Just not enough i guess. At least until he is seen by consultant.

Has anybody got any advice please?
