Confession on a running track
Happy Sunday everyone! Finally fresher in London. Look at what happened to me yesterday. I got into a excitable state of mind and was so elated with the training that I made a bad decision, which was to try and run on my own on a REST DAY. I need to point that I had also been to a yoga class in the

Reintroducing Foods with Past IBS Flares (gas and runny tummy)
So update The last two weeks I have made slow progress to come off my SIBO/Low Fodmap diet and eat stuff I use to enjoy. I tried like a quarter of teaspoon on peanut butter but I didn’t get a reaction...not sure I can handle a whole sandwich or shake with it. Strawberry jam okay Store bought artisan

Five and a half year old bedwetting.
My daughter cannot grasp staying dry at night. Potty training her was super easy she was three and got it within a week. I've spoken to her doctor who says this is normal even though the NHS website says it's not. Only 1 in five children wet the bad at five years old. I've tried everything from reward

Lamotrigine - help with mood?
Lamotrigine is a medicine that can be prescribed to prevent seizures. But also it may help your mood after a brain injury. Has anyone taken Lamotrigine and found it has helped with mood? and in what way has it made a difference?

Passions (none-AF post)
...not those kind of passions ;) I was wondering, we have such a mass of people here of different ages areas and backgrounds.. what people's passions are? Something you love to do, something that chills you out or you absolutely love to do. Even if you can't do it as much as you used to, you miss it,

Deja Vu
I posted last week about the dreaded week 5 20 minute run. I did it, but didn't feel quite right about it somehow. I'd had to stop twice, albeit briefly, because someone seemed to have poured molten lead into my legs. So, I decided to repeat it today before moving on to week 6, just to make sure I could

Incorrect diagnosis of hypoxic brain injury and unnecessary heavy polymedication
What should be my next step? Curvature of spine
Hi guys - I’ve been recommended to stop running which I’m gutted about as my physio says I have curvature of spine. Running will make it worse with the pounding as I’m already suffering from lower back ache. Just wondered if anyone thinks I should get a second opinion on this as I love running and have

1st Parkrun and 1st 5k under my belt - feeling very pleased with myself
I'm on week 7 C25K but chatted with friend during week about doing Parkrun - she said I'd be fine. So I turned up this morning and I did it! I managed to run all the way - don't know my time yet because in all the excitement I forgot to set my timer! Update: just had time sent 37:43. I feel happy

DRUG REACTIONS
I have just been talking to a friend and she has just started a course of Prozac. I go lucky girl it's great stuff should be in the water. Once I got over the first three weeks of nausea, I really felt the impact that Prozac can have on your psyche. But not if you have RLS. She actually had a wee touch

Couch to.... how far? - My journey
Hi C25Ker's, a few weeks ago Oldfloss asked a few of recent graduates to share our journey's and experience's. Here is my "condensed" version, I hope it helps. The most important fact I have learnt and worth mentioning before anything else, is that this is your journey, your experience! Any and everyone

10yo had an accident at school
My poor 10yo DS has come down with a tummy bug. Yesterday morning he felt a bit off but had no signs of sickness and he is often tired in the mornings so went to school. Then about mid-day I had a call to come and get him because he had diarrhoea and pooed his pants. It happened in a lesson and apparently

PV (JAK2) and Thrombocythemia
Hello, I have PV and the JAK 2 mutation. I been taking low dose aspirin and having phlebotomies for the last 5 years. I recently tried Hydroxyurea but had bad side effects. After a month, I stopped taking it. Now my Dr. has me on Anagrelide for the High Platelets and continuing the phlebotomies

How to manage 8yr old wetting and soiling and wanting to go on brownie camp... advice please!
She seems to have more
accidents
when she is
at
school than she does
at

for some reason (usually about 2/3

Starting to worry
My daughter is 4 and still not 100% toilet trained, she is fine with going for a wee but going for a poo she simply doesn't get. We use a mixture of pullups and nappies during the day as she simply isn't aware when she needs to go and will have accidents and becomes very distraught. she doesn't seem
