Hi After having my Lap on 27th Feb I was worried about nothing being found but on my discharge notes it advised filmy adhesions on pouch of Douglas but not treated as didn't think that it would be causing the pain would this be right? Also suspected Adenomyosis as bulky uterus the coil was fitted & to

Best panty or panty liners for vulvodynia and pudendal neuralgia
Looking for recommendations on panties that would be comfortable for women with pudendal neuralgia (PN) and vulvodynia. I have had a hysterectomy, so post-surgical menopause. I have tried all types of disposable panty liners, mainly brands that use organic, unbleached cotton. But they are extremely irritating

Advice / Help Please
Can anyone tell me roughly how long for each person it took after the 3 month Decapeptyl injection for their period to return? Driving myself insane, my little girl was born sleeping 2 years ago and after lots of operations, tests and appointments. This is our last hurdle before we can try again, hopefully

Swollen thyroid but normal bloods
Hi all, I have been having problems since July last year, I had a period of hyperactivity and losing weight then it switched to gaining weight and feeling cold and tired all the time. I also have hearing loss and have been offered hearing aids. My ana was abnormal so I saw a rheumatologist who thought

Hysterectomy recommended today
Hi guys. I'm 33 and have been suffering with Endo since I was 12. Had lacroscopy done 2 years ago and was told that some of the endometriosis was burned off, some cut off and a cyst was removed from one of my ovaries. Only, since then the pain has gotten worse and pain free days are a thing of the past

Lap didn’t show endo
I had my lap back in Aug and they didn’t find any endo, which in a way is good news. At the time they fitted me with the mirena coil. This hasn’t helped, I’m still have horrendous pain and I have tried every other contraception out there. I have had painful periods and everything that comes with it since

Post hysterectomy, when can I have a proper bath?
Hi ladies, I’m one week post total hysterectomy, including cervix. All going well so far. The one thing I forgot to ask is when can I have a bath? A shower just isn’t the same for me.

I had a radical hysterectomy (everything) laparoscopic. When can I do my normal exercises (running, cross trainer etc) I get married soon.
I had my hysterectomy on valentines day. Have 4 laparoscopic incisions that have healed up nicely on the outside. I really ready for exercise but I am waiting until Friday 4 weeks to go walking. But by 6 weeks I want to get back to most of my exercises. I know no lifting or sit ups are allowed but is

Tibolone after Hysterectomy
Hey, I’m nearly 8 weeks post op after having a full hysterectomy due to severe endometriosis. I’m in surgical menopause and been prescribed Tibolone and started suffering with severe headaches. Do these subside after a while? The headaches make me feel really sick too and I can’t talk.

Is it normal to Not want to walk due bladder prolapse discomfort?
Had hysterectomy 8 yrs ago, have been really well and active ie: lots of walking, but now have been diagnosed with anterior bladder prolapse. Not painful, but wary of walking, especially long walks. Is it normal for the discomfort to affect one in this way?
