what pain management does everyone use?
Nefopam, paracetamol and either ibuprofen or Naproxen. Occasionally morphine, once or twice a week if really bad.
Sort of works. Nefopam isn’t an opiate either.
Hope you manage to sort something out.
Hi there Amydaisy, sorry you're having a hard time there. I'm currently sitting with a hot water bottle on my tummy and have just had two sessions on my TENS machine, got from Argos £55. A lot of women use the heat pads from the Pound shop as you can wear them at work. I've been using my TENS machine at work. The machines don't work for everyone, I am just maybe lucky with it. Other place for advice is Nancy's Nook on Facebook, I'd definitely request to join the group then type in hysterectomy+endometriosis into the search bar they have set up to get up to date advice on best treatment options. If possible get signed of work and go back to your G.P. For more pain relief . Codeine does take the edge off but it’s a difficult pain to reach . This is a difficult time of your life but it will pass so you need to put your own needs first .
