Post hysterectomy, when can I have a proper bath?

Hi ladies, I’m one week post total hysterectomy, including cervix. All going well so far.

The one thing I forgot to ask is when can I have a bath? A shower just isn’t the same for me.

Hello my lovely. I hope you are well and resting up. Me being me i had a bath two day's after my hysterectomy. I had to have help from my daughter. Once I had a bath i put clean dressings on . I can't go without having a bath every morning. I just made sure that I didn't get soap on the wounds but I did clean them after a bath and I kept the dressings on whilst I was having a bath, then obviously I put clean one's on after. Just make sure that the wounds are dry but gently dry them. 💛💛x
