Good morning.

I am on the waiting list to see a urologist. It has been 3 years since my hysterectomy.

They changed my HRT which didnt help and so I went back to my original consultant who has given me something else.

This seems to be helping but it still feels a bit off with the water works.

Ive had Ultra sou d on bladder and kidneys and have had bloods done. All came back clear.

So now Im going to go to see the urologist just to rule out anything else.

I had a hysterectomy in 2016 and within 6mths was in agony with deep lower pelvic pain, plus other urinary symptoms, my consultant referred me to a urologist as he suspected Interstitial Cystitis which is basically an inflammation of the bladder lining. After a cystoscopy my urologist conformed this, I had treatment once a week for 6 weeks by catheter. That finished in Dec and I have been fine since. According to research IC can b a side effect of Endo but won’t get better without treatment. Hope this helps a little, worth a mention xx

Yes, I ended up with a blood clot after my hysterectomy. The clot was pushing against my ureter (the tube that takes urine from the kidneys to bladder)and I was in a lot of pain. I was admitted to the urology ward and a stent had to be inserted into my ureter as the clot had caused it to narrow. 2 months later i still have the stent as my ureter is still healing. What sort of pain are you experiencing? Xx

I have lower pain on the left hand side and also feels like someone is sticking a knife in my bladder and pushing it down

Sounds like an infection. The pain you’re experiencing sounds horrible, so sorry. The urologist will be able to diagnose the problem. When is your appointment, soon I hope? X

Hi I had my appointment last Wednesday there was no infection this time. The urologist put it down to bladder pain syndrome but thinks it’s all related to the endometriosis. I’ve just got an appointment for a pre op for a laparoscopy but that’s not until 19/5 and then the op won’t be for a few weeks after. I’m just sick of feeling rubbish all the time being in pain some days I just want to stay in bed 😞x
