Can anyone tell me roughly how long for each person it took after the 3 month Decapeptyl injection for their period to return? Driving myself insane, my little girl was born sleeping 2 years ago and after lots of operations, tests and appointments. This is our last hurdle before we can try again, hopefully before a hysterectomy as they want to try get us through and have a baby before that happens! Just so worried it’ll be ages and be too late :(

So sorry love although it’s not the same having lost a baby recently at 12.5 week I know how heartbreaking it is .ive not had this injection but if it takes too long you can have medication to induce your period from your g.p also some people try Angus cactus to bring on their period hope this helps I also have endo and am ttc before the terrible thing try’s to take over xx

Thank you so much. I always get the ‘you’re young ‘ thing thrown at me as I’ve just turned 24 but unfortunately people aren’t aware of how severe my endometriosis is as I have 2types. I’m so sorry. It’s always the same. Doesn’t matter the time, hurts the same! It was 2 years in February and it feels like it’s taken so long for us to get to this point. I had surgery as I had almost two separate wombs, which is why it al happened. We only found out before Christmas about the 2 types of endometriosis, and there bad, so I will have to have a hysterectomy at some Point :( the injection put me in menopause and I don’t want to experience that ever again let me say hahah. It was 12 weeks yesterday, and the nurse got it wrong, i have Prostap 3? It’s just me being impatient haha. I’ll have a look at that thank you! I rang the nurse yesterday and she wasn’t very polite, just made me sound and feel Silly as I also asked if it would even be safe to try when my period comes back with the coronavirus and things? Especially with what happened. Just frightened me. Are you in pain a lot with it? What have they said to you if you don’t mind me asking? Thank you for being so kind. I hope you’re doing as ok as can be xx

I’m very much in early days in regards to treatment and have just been told I need a laparoscopy to help me conceive although he said it was down to me if I was to keep trying.

ive not had any explanation for my misscarrige my baby came out fine only sleeping we only think it’s because we have a higher chance of misscarrige but can’t be sure I’ve had tests but I don’t even know what those were I’ll blame the terrible gynaecologist I had at the time.

I refused prostap as I heard it can be lethal in regards to symptoms and even bring on menopause.

In regards to managing symptoms my symptoms are horrendous sometimes but I manage it a lot these days with diet and taking additional progesterone.

I’m so sorry about that insensitive nurse there can be a few so called professionals what don’t know what they are talking about sometimes less stress eases anxiety.

i guess it would be your choice when to start trying can’t see it being a problem trying now as you could still ovulate good luck with it all x
